Miller - Assistant Public Works Director <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Arden Manor and Floral Park Improvements – Final Payment #3 <br /> <br /> Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br /> $606,000 – Floral Park $1,133,786.07 CDBG Funds, PIR – Parks <br /> $249,700 – Arden Manor <br /> <br />Council Should Consider <br /> <br />Motions to approve, table, or deny the following: <br /> <br />• Pay Request #3 and Final Payment for the Arden Manor Park and Floral Park <br />Improvements Project to Peterson Companies, Inc. in the amount of $35,658.36. <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br /> <br />On June 26, 2023, Council approved Resolution 2023-032, Accepting the Bid and Awarding the <br />Arden Manor Park and Floral Park Improvements Project Contract to Peterson Companies in the <br />amount of $816,523.35. <br /> <br />At the June 20, 2023 Work Session, City Council directed staff to remove the Arden Manor hard <br />court from the scope of the project and pursue future CDBG funds to apply towards construction <br />in the future. Staff contacted Peterson Companies, Inc. to discuss the project scope change and <br />agreed to a change order following award of the contract in the amount of -$115,649.89, which <br />resulted in a new contract amount of $700,873.46. This Change Order #1 was approved by <br />Council at the regular Council meeting on July 10, 2023. To complete the work in the field, there <br />were some underruns and overruns of varying scopes of work due to actual site conditions which <br />was approved by Council in Change Order #2 in an overall increase of $12,293.69 at the Council <br />meeting on September 23, 2024. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEM – 8G <br /> <br /> MEMORANDUM <br />
