<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />JANUARY 10, 2000 <br />6:30 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Dennis Probst called to order the regular <br />City Council meeting at 6:36 p.m. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Dennis Probst, Councilmembers Beverly Aplikowski, David Grant, <br />Gregg Larson, and Lois Rem. <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Also present were City Administrator, Joe Lynch; City Accountant, Terrance Post; Public <br />Works Director, Dwayne Stafford; Associate Planner, Nancy Randall; and City Engineer, <br />Greg Brown, BRW; and Recording Secretary, Lori Rolfson. <br /> <br />ADOPT AGENDA <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski moved and Councilmember Rem seconded a motion <br />to adopt the agenda for the January 10,2000, regular City Council meeting. The <br />motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />A. December 6, 1999 Truth in Taxation Meeting <br /> <br />Councilmember Larson requested the following changes to the minutes: On page 5, last <br />paragraph, the first sentence should read, "Councilmember Larson requested confirmation that <br />the increase..." On page 8, fifth paragraph, the first sentence should read, "...what each applicant <br />feels he or she could bring..." <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski moved and Councilmember Larson seconded a <br />motion to approve the minutes of the December 6, 1999 Truth in Taxation <br />Meetings, as amended. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />A. Claims and Payroll <br />B. Regular Employee Status, Thomas J. Moore, Parks and Recreation Director <br />C. Regular Employee Status, Michelle Olson, Recreation Program Supervisor <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Councilmember Larson moved and Councilmember Aplikowski seconded a <br />motion to approve the Consent Calendar and authorize execution of all necessary <br />documents contained therein. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br />
