<br /> ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL WORKSESSION - APRIL 17,2000 4 <br /> . Councilmember Rem suggested that the Task Force consider listing those <br /> resources (i.e., contacts, groups or agencies) that could be contacted for additional <br /> information. <br /> Task Force member, Andy Holewa, expressed the Task Force's appreciation of <br /> the etlorts of Councilmember Larson and Associate Planner, Nancy Randall, in <br /> their guidance and assistance in working with the Task Force. <br /> Councilmember Larson recognized those Task Force members not present <br /> tonight, but also actively involved in the Task Force work. They included Philip <br /> Lacher; Marty Rye; Paul Amble; Tom Lynch; and Wilhelm Reindl; as well as <br /> Sam Scott. <br /> Mayor Probst again thanked the Task Force for their work to-date. <br /> HIGHWAY 96/10 PLAN REVIEW <br /> Consulting Engineer, Greg Brown, presented overlays of the various options <br /> previously discussed for the Highways 96/l 0 intersection. <br /> Mayor Probst stated that the City was receiving increased pressure from Ramsey <br /> County to provide their recommendations to the County for their consideration for <br /> the final design process. A meeting has been requested and scheduled by Ramsey <br /> . County Commissioner, Tony Bennett, with Mayor Probst; City Administrator <br /> Lynch; Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) representative Bob <br /> Brown; and Jim Tolaas of Ramsey County's Public Works Department later this <br /> week. Mayor Probst stated that it is the concept of Ramsey County that the City <br /> of Arden Hills is holding up this project, and potential funding for reconstruction. <br /> Discussion included the need for the City of Arden Hills to consider a major <br /> interchange to accommodate future development of the Twin Cities Army <br /> Ammunition Plant (TCAAP) area. <br /> Mayor Probst stated that he and Mr. Lynch would provide additional information <br /> to the Council at their April 24th Council meeting, following their meeting with <br /> Commissioner Bennett, et al. <br /> CITIES OF ARDEN HILLS/ROSEVILLE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT. <br /> SHARED SERVICES <br /> Mr. Post presented a proposal for a Joint Powers Agreement (JP A) with the City <br /> of Roseville for sharing of services and resources between the two cities. Mr. <br /> Post identified several items being considered, including installation of an antenna <br /> on the Fernwood water tower, which would allow Arden Hills a most cost- <br /> effective utilization of Roseville's SCADA system for monitoring alarms on City <br /> . <br />
