Information has not been submitted regarding the percentage of various uses within the <br />building. <br />Proposed Floor Plan <br /> <br />The Applicant has submitted information regarding sustainability. There are seven aspects of the <br />Rice Creek Commons Sustainable Design Guidelines which include LEED certification, <br />performance above the Minnesota Energy Code, an all-electric approach, onsite renewable <br />energy and district energy, 10% embodied carbon reduction, electric vehicle infrastructure, and <br />annual energy and water data reporting. Within the application, the Applicant has outlined a <br />basic approach that applies to all scenarios. This approach includes: <br /> <br />1. Xcel EDA Program <br />2. Above-Code Wall Insulation <br />3. Low-Flow Fixtures & LED Lighting <br />4. Dark-Sky Friendly Exterior Lighting <br />5. 75% Waste Diversion Goal <br />6. A4/A5 Construction Emissions Tracking <br />7. Comprehensive site assessment <br />8. Onsite storm runoff management (infiltration) <br />9. Native, diverse & pollinator-friendly plantings <br />10. Smart, water-conserving irrigation <br /> <br />The Applicant has included within their narrative parameters for the JDA discussion on these <br />topics. To aid in that discussion, LHB has provided a summary of comments for waiver request <br />impacts: Installation of traditional geothermal for office areas would require additional financial <br />resources (likely from Ramsey County). Natural gas would be used to heat the warehouse. This
