Hollenhorst, Councilmen Stan Olmen, <br /> Charles Crichton, Ronald Herrick <br /> Absent - Mayor Henry J. Crepeau, Jr. <br /> Also Present - Councilman-elect James Wingert, Attorney James <br /> .. Lynden, Engineer Donald Lund, Treasurer Richard O'Kelly, <br /> Parks Director John Buckley, Clerk Administrator Charlotte <br /> McNlesh, Deputy Clerk Dorothy Zehm. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> The Minutes of the Special Cou nc II Meeting of November 8, 1973, <br /> were approved as amended. <br /> The Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting of November 12, 1973, <br /> were approved as amended. <br /> Business from the Floor <br /> None. <br /> REPORT OF VILLAGE ATTORNEY JAMES S. LYNDEN <br /> Letter re VlllaQe Planner Contract <br /> Attorney Lynden reported that the letter outlining the 5-polnt <br /> program, as amended, has been consumated as of November 20, 1973. <br /> Labor Union AQreement <br /> Attorney Lynden recommended that the Council authorize his writing <br /> to the State Bureau of Mediation Services, advising of final position <br /> of the Village. <br /> After discussion, Attorney Lynden was authorized by the Council to <br /> write the letter, attaching the Mayor's letter to the Union Repre- <br /> sentative, dated October 30, 1973 , Including attachments thereto. <br /> Bulk Storage .of Gasoline and Fuel 011 <br /> Attorney Lynden referred the Council to his letter of November 21, <br /> 1973, outlining his opinion re Village requirements for storage of <br /> above-ground fuel 011 tanks etc. (Ord. 99) . <br /> After dIscussion, the Council requested that the Police Department <br /> be especially vigilant of Installations of bulk storag~ tanks and <br /> reque!!ted Mr. Locey, Publicity Director, to prepare a press r.e I ease <br /> re the Village requirements for bulk storage of fuels and to obtain <br /> a statement from the State Fire Marshall re State regulations for <br /> bulk storage of flammable liquids. <br /> REPORT OF VILLAGE ENGINEER DONALD LUND <br /> . Bituminous Roadways - Final Payment payment from <br /> Engineer Lund explained that the request for final <br /> Bituminous Roadways for Street I mprovement No. 72-3 (James, Gale <br /> and Norma Circles) Is $3,213.93, and recommended Council approval <br /> of payment In this amount plus payment of $120.00 for the repair <br /> work on the Meyer driveway on Gale Circle, which he said he Is <br /> '... sat I sf led w III correct the dra I nage prob I em on that property. Mr. <br /> Lund advised that a one year warranty will be In effect from the <br /> date of Village acceptance, which he considers to be the date the <br /> final payment Is approved. <br /> Olmen moved, seconded by Crichton, that the Council approve payment <br /> ./ of $3,213.93, plus $120.00, to Bituminous Roadways, Inc., representing <br /> f I na I payment for Street Improvement No. 72-3 and repair work on <br /> the Meyer driveway on Gale Circle.
