REPORT OF VILLAGE ENGINEER DONALD LUND <br /> (absent) <br /> Bussard Addition - Street and Utility Revisions <br /> The Council reviewed Engineer Lund's report, dated October 8, 1973, <br /> re a proposed change In street grade of Bussard Court; advising that <br /> the street grade results from a request from Ramsey County to change <br /> the grade Immediately adjacent to Snelling Avenue in case the County <br /> ever widens Snelling Avenue. <br /> The Counc II discussed the problem of an 8% street grade, noting that <br /> a variance from Ordinance No. 98 maximum street grade of 6%, would be <br /> needed, It was noted that water line installatIon might be affected <br /> by the change I n street grade requested. <br /> In order to expedite the utilities construction 011 Bussard Court, <br /> Clerk Administrator McNiesh was requested to ca II t4r. Floyd Snyker, <br /> Ramsey County Engineer's Office, advising him of the Village Ordinance <br /> street grade maximum of 6% and advising him that the Village does not <br /> want Snelling Avenue widened, necessitating the proposed grade change <br /> for Bussard Court. Mrs. McNlesh was asked to resolve this matter with <br /> Ramsey County and to request Mr, Snyker to notify Mr. Dennis Brown, <br /> Milner W. Carley and Assoclate~ of the County's decision on the matter. <br /> Arden Manor Mobile Home Park <br /> The Counc II reviewed Engineer Lu nd ' s letter of October 8, I 973, re <br /> the status of uti Ilty Inspection at Arden Manor Mobile Home Park. <br /> Mrs. McNlesh reported that she has not received a reply to her letter <br /> of September 28, 1973, advising Mr. Adams that no connections to the <br /> Village utilities will be allowed I f the connected system Is not <br /> satisfactorily Inspected and tested; requestIng that he furnIsh Infor- <br /> mation regarding resident Inspections being done, and to submit a <br /> status report of the construction, <br /> Clerk Administrator McNlesh was requested to ca II Mr. Adams requesting <br /> him to reply Immediately to her letter; advising that the letter re- <br /> flects the Intent of the Council. <br /> REPORT OF VILLAGE TREASURER RICHARD O'Kelly <br /> Treasurer O'Kelly reported a re-lnvestment on October I, 1973 of <br /> . $35,000, for six months, at 9.85%. <br /> REPORT OF COUNCILMAN JOHN HOLLENHORST - Planning and Zoning, Human <br /> Rights <br /> Arden Hill s School of Dance <br /> Letter of request was not received. Gordon Hepo/a - Sldeyard Variance <br /> Mr. Wingert reported that the Planning Commission recommends Council <br /> approval of the 3-foot sldeyard variance, as requested, subject to the <br /> approval of the Board of Appeals. He noted that the Board of Appeals <br /> also recommends approval, and advises that the adjacent property owner, <br /> Or.
