Ad if!::- <br /> cent to Round Lake. <br /> Mrs. McNlesh was requested by the Council to contact Mrs. Grudnoske <br /> re the Public Hearing scheduled by Ramsey County Open Space System, <br /> Monday, October 15, 1973, at 7:30 p.m. In the Council Chambers, <br /> third floor, St. Paul City Hall, asking Mrs. Grudnoske to notify her <br /> neighbors of the hearing, If they have not received the no~lce from <br /> Ramsey County Open Space. <br /> Mayor Crepeau asked that the Council attend the hearing, If possible. <br /> . Parks and RecreatlQn - Real Estate SUb-committee Report <br /> Herrick reported that the Real Estate Sub-cOmmittee will meet If I th <br /> the Parks and Recreation Committee and discuss the Park Plan and pro- <br /> posed procedure for the real estate subcommittee, submitting th$lr <br /> recommendations to the Council. <br /> REPORT OF MAYOR HENRY J. CREPEAU, JR. - General Government, Public <br /> Safety <br /> Squad Car' Bids <br /> Mayor Crepeau reported that five (5) bids were received for the 1974 <br /> squad car, advising that the Public Safety Committee recommends that <br /> the Council accept the low bid by Stillwater Motor Company, In the <br /> amount of $3,396, with trade-In; noting that the bid specified no <br /> bucket seats and a two-speed windshield wiper; other wise complying <br /> ~Ith the specifications requested. <br /> Olmen moved, seconded by Hollenhorst, that the Council accept thtl <br /> Stillwater Motor Company bid, In the amount of $3396; payment to be <br /> made In 1974. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Report from Building Inspector Larry Squires Re Industrial Park <br /> Mayor Crepeau referred the Council to the report by Building Inspec- <br /> tor Larry Squires re the Inspection of the Industrial Park. <br /> The Council commended Mr. Squires on the report, and requested that <br /> this Inspection be made on a quarterly basis. <br /> The Council requested that the proposed letters be signed by both <br /> the Building Inspector ano Clerk Administrator. <br /> Crichton noted that Item 14 in the report has been corrected, as far' <br /> as the weed cutting violation Is concerned. The Council suggested <br /> that Mr. Squires collaborate with Mr. Sexton re item 63. <br /> Herrick stated that cars with flat tires and otherwise Inoperable are <br /> continually parked on the east side of Dunlap, between buildings 2 <br /> and 3, and recommended review of Item 19 re this problem possibly at <br /> this location. <br /> Crichton noted that a portion of the hili, I tern 1116, Is Village property, <br /> suggesting that Mr. Squires be advised of this and advising that the <br /> . Village will assist In correcting this dangerous situation. <br /> REPORT OF CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE MCNIESH <br /> Appointment of Election Judges - November 6. 1973 Election <br /> Herrick moved, seconded by HolleRhorst, that the Council approve <br /> the Election Judges for the November 6, 1973 Municipal Election as <br /> presented.
