REPORT OF COUNCILMAN STAN OLMEN - Pul>1ic Works <br /> <br />No report. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN RON HERRICK - Parka and Recreation <br /> <br />Village Rall Site Improvement <br />Herrick reported that t100 bids have been receivecl for blacktopping and curbing. <br /> <br />After discussion, Berrick moved, seconded by Olmen, that the Council award the bid <br />to tbe low bidder, Total Asphalt ~pany, in the amount of $3,772.00, for asphalting <br />and curbing: items No.5 (tenace) and tlo. 4-1 (poured curb) to be eliminated fr_ <br />the bid. Motion carried unanmously. <br /> <br />Perry Park <br /> <br />Herrick reported that Porry Park is being used every evening by men, womeD and <br />children. <br /> <br />Valentine Park <br /> <br />Herrick reported that the infield is in at Valentine Park; the field is now playable <br />and a game is schedUled there on Wednesday. <br /> <br />State Youth Employment Progr~ <br /> <br />Harrid'. expressed interest in the ne~ State Youth Employmel1t Program. <br /> <br />The Council requested C. McNiesh to attend the meeting regarding t.his program on <br />Tuesday, June 12, and to report to th~ Council regarding the contract involved - <br />limitations and conditions, etc. <br />i <br />llEPORT OF MAYOR liE!lf!.'f J. CREPEAU, JR. - General Government, Public Safety <br /> <br />ManholE Survey, <br /> <br />Mayor Crepeau briefly reviewed Mr. Johansen's r~port regarding the immediate need <br />to raise 19 to 20 ~li1Uholes, reporting that this work has been started. <br /> <br />.Fullt~e Police Officer <br /> <br />Mayor Crepeau recommended the a~poiu~~ent of James D.
