They authorized the VI! lage Attorney to perform the <br />nacesRery legai work In the matter. <br /> <br />Apportionment 0' Assessments - Indlen Oaks Plat <br />Resolution Nos. 72-30 and 72-32 <br /> <br />Motion was made by Herrick, seconded by Hollenhorst, that Resolution <br />No. 72-31, reletlngto apportionment of assessments relatIng to <br />Consolidated Sanitary Sewer Improvement Nos. 12 and 13, be approved <br />as submitted; motion carried ~nanlmous!y. <br /> <br />Motion was ma~a by Herrick, seconded by Hot ienhorst, that ResolutIon <br />No. 72-32, rs iatfng ,to ap port I onment of assessments re lat! ng to Wats r <br />Improvement No. 71-1, be approved liS submitted; mot~on carried ~nlln- <br />lmous!y. <br /> <br />A $160 administratIve fee Is to be charged to plat developer, Wm. <br />Feyerelsen, for above apportionments to IndlenOaks Plat. <br /> <br />County En~lneer - Municipal En~lneersl Meetln~s <br /> <br />Engineer Christoffersen reported 8 request from the Ramsey County <br />Engineer to meet once a month with municipal engineers to discuss <br />matters pertinent to the the County Engineer's Pepertment end the <br />municipalities on any matter of general need or Interest. Engineer <br />Christoffersen stated ha felt that the meetIng would often be <br />mutuel!y beneficial to the Village and County, end said that his firm <br />would plan to send one porson to e meeting to represent all the <br />commun.l.tles for which they provide engineerIng consultant servIce; <br />Arden Hills would be ch~rsed on a pro-rata basIs, and, ,,~ a particular <br />meeting does not cover a subject pertinent to Arden HI lis, then no <br />representative wll! ~ttend for us. <br /> <br />The Council authorized attendance at the meetings for three months, <br />fee to bo pro-rated, and asked Mr. ChrIstoffersen to review It wIth <br />tham after that period. <br /> <br />Street Improvement No. .11..:2 . <br /> <br />Engineer Christoffersen reported that he wrote to Dunkley Surfacing <br />Co., water contractor, and McDonald & Associates, sanitary sewer <br />contractor, and requestodrepalrs to Floral Drive In accordance with <br />contract requirements. Both contractors have agreed to do the work <br />at the completion of the current union strike. <br /> <br />Mr. Christoffersen pressnted an Informal written report, dated July 10, <br />1912, listing estimated costs and assessment charges for James, Norma, <br />and Gale Circles, assuming all lots IIssessed 100%. Costs for storm <br />sewer are not Included In the estimate, be~ause no VIllage policy has <br />yet been established for assessing storm sewer costs. <br /> <br />The Council determlnac! to take Ii';') further BetLonon th.e proposed street <br />improvement for Floral Drive until the repair work has been done by <br />the water and 5~Wer contractors. <br /> <br />Motion was ma~e by Herrick, seconded by Dlmen, that ResolutIon No. 72-33 <br />be approved authorizing the Village Engineer to prepare plans and <br />specifications for street Improvements for Norma, James and Gale CIrcles, <br />report to be ready for July 31 Council meeting and costs to be broken <br />down proportionately, and with curb and gutter to be' left off plans; <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCiLMAN JOHN HOlLENHORST - .Planning & Zoning <br /> <br />Ca~No. 72-34~-ElIQrlm House <br /> <br />Motion was made by Ho!lenhorst, 5econ~ed by Herrick, that the special <br />usa permit for Pllgi'im House, i2!2 i'lesJr Highway 96, be extended for one <br />year pending disposition of the property, and Subject to the approval <br />of the Fire Dept. and the Poi Ice Dept.; permit to be void If they are <br />forced to move; motion c3rrJ~d unanimously. <br /> <br />-"1_- <br />
