A stagIng proposal for utilities has been submItted to the <br />Village Enplneer. <br /> <br />3.A cost estimate for landscaping has bean submItted to the <br />Village Enpb1eer. The landscaplng.1 rm will furnish the <br />requl red performance bond to assure,'<completlon. Village <br />Council must'~et the amount of the bond. <br /> <br />4. Parers regardlnR the assl!')nmont of 'I'll" ISll1'lks' property have <br />been given to Attorney Courtney. Attorney Copeland further <br />reviewed details regardln~ escrow deposits. The Council asked <br />that Attorney Courtney and Attorney Copeland work out details <br />I n the mettc r. <br /> <br />At the request of Jlltnes Adams, the Councl! authorized the Issuanc:e of <br />an excavation permit for the Arden ~enor project so that work can be <br />started. Mr. Adams estimated that the excavation wi II take about <br />th ree weeks. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE ENGINEER DONALD LUND <br /> <br />J. Belair Constructlon-f2. <br /> <br />Upon the recommendation of Engineer Don Christoffersen, motion was <br />made by Herrick, seconded by ~enderson, that the retainer for the <br />J. Belair Construction Co. contract for Chas. Perry Park be reduced <br />to 2 J and that Estimate No.4 In the amount of $15,322.25 be approved <br />for payment, subject to receipt of a letter from ~r. Aelalr guaranteeing <br />that sod for the park project will be sold to the Village by Jordan <br />Landscape at the same cost agreed upon with the Belal~ Co.; motion <br />carried unanrmous~y. <br /> <br />The Council and Mr. Pelair agreed that the Village would lay the sod <br />In tha project, and that the project cost to us would be reduced by <br />$500.00. <br /> <br />Storm Sewer System <br /> <br />A letter report, dated June 12, 1972, t~om Engineer POller 5ho.rt relat- <br />Ing to a proposed m~ster storm water drainage plan for Arden Hills was <br />reviewed by EnRlneer Christoffersen. Engineer rhrlstoffersen recom- <br />mended consideration of the purchase of a new aerial map to use with <br />the proposed project. He will obtain an 6stlmate of cost for such <br />map. <br /> <br />... Plans for the master plan would take about I year to complete. <br /> <br />Clerk Administrator was asked TO. send copies of the report to the <br />CouncIl members and to refer the pr~posal to the Public Works Committee <br />end the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />~on=O!>Jl.!~.! I on iI,Jreem!,nt <br /> <br />Engineer Don Lund reviewed his letter, dated June 12, !972, regarding <br />non-obstruction agreement No. 30721 with Ramsay County for federal aid <br />highways. Motion was made hy Herrick, seconded hy Olmen, that Mayor <br />and Clerk Administrator be authorIzed to slqn the aqreement, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />-3- <br />
