Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br />City Staff has worked with Ramsey County Staff throughout the design phase and have reviewed <br />the plans and specifications and recommends that Council approve the Cooperative Agreement <br />and Cost Share as outlined in Attachment B. A bid date is not yet finalized but is expected to <br />take place in April with the street maintenance taking place during the early part of the summer <br />months. Assuming the pricing is in line with engineer’s estimate, Staff would proceed with the <br />work along with Ramsey County. <br />Budget Impact <br /> <br />The 2025 Operating Budget includes funding in the amount of $275,000 for the proposed work <br />under the 2025 Street Maintenance Program and other annual costs related to resurfacing, such <br />as the internally led trail paving project and the JPA Seal Coating program with Coon Rapids. <br />The projected final costs are as follows: <br />• JPA estimated cost is approximately $203,963 <br />• PW in-house paving estimated cost is approximately $6,475 <br />• Reclamite Project with Ramsey County-Estimate is $65,709 <br /> <br />Total projected cost for 2025 Street Maintenance is approximately $276,147, which is projected <br />to be $3,647 over budget. <br />Attachments <br /> <br />Attachment A: Reclamite Street Maintenance Map <br />Attachment B: Ramsey County Cooperative Agreement & Cost Share
