MINUTES OF SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING Village of Arden HI lis Monday, August 18, 1975 - 7:30 p.m. Vi Ilage Hall Ca II to Order The meeting was called to order by Mayor Crepeau at 7:35 p.m. Roll Call Present - Mayor Henry J. Crepeau, Jr., Councilmen Charles Crichton, James Wingert, William Feyerelsen, Robert Woodburn. Absent - None. Also Present - Planner RIchard Fredlund, Clerk Administrator Charlotte McNiesh, Deputy Clerk Dorothy Zehm. Case Nc>. 75-23 Mr. Pat Flaherty and Mr. Max Goracke presented an amended site plan of the Connelly Avenue area, depicting changes in Flaherty's parking areas (to accommodate 257 stalls), delineation of realigned one-way road right-of-way, pondlng areas, proposed landscaped areas, change of access to adjacent properties; all based on preliminary grading -studies. In discussion of drainage, Goracke noted that the proposed ponding area will hold approximately 6000 cu. ft. of water (I" to 2" rainfall); . does not know what else drains into the site, but site wi II contain the extra run-off which the amended parking lot construction will contrlbut~, as well as the run-off from the McDonald site; proposes to lower the catch basin and install a pipe restriction to allow water to funnel out slowly; also agreed to mound west property I ine to 927 contour (instead of 926 as shown) to prevent run-off of heavy rain to the west and north of the site. Flaherty agreed to curb Connelly Avenue on all the Flaherty-owned sides of the road. Wingert agreed to the amsndment and motion, as amended, carried unanimously. In discussion of costs of project to be borne by the Vi llage, Goracke stated that It is their Intent that the VII lag. Attorney and Engineer- Ing fees, signing and striping of streets and delineation of road rlght-of-~Iay, except on the Flaherty-owned sid&s of Connelly Avenue, be borne by the Village; Flaherty wi II pay costs of balance of project, Including curb delineation of Connelly Avenue on Flaherty's sides of this road, REPORT OF CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE MCN1ESH 1976 Proposed Budget McNlesh referred Council to charts and graphs to be added to the Pro- posed 19768udget; reporting that the Finance Sub-committee has sched- uled a meeting on Tuesday, August 19th at 7:30 p.m., at which time they will receive the Proposed 1976 Budget. Chairman Hanson has requested guidelines and recommendations from the Council for their considera- tion In review of the budget.
