<br />Bid for 3/4 Ton Truck
<br />Woodburn reported that bid received from White Bear Dodge was
<br />54,596 with automatic transmission, excluding plow, delivery In
<br />60-120 days. Plow costs about 51,040. In checking with several
<br />dealers, 3/4 ton trucks with plows and Immediate delivery were
<br />located ranging in price from 55,193 (three speed stick) to
<br />$5,700 for truck with heavier duty cooling equipment, heavy duty
<br />tires, 4000# front axle, etc.
<br />
<br />Since these were over 55,000 Attorney Lynden recommended either
<br />readvertlslng or accepting bid of 54,596 from White Bear Dodge.
<br />Crichton moved, seconded by Wingert that Councl I award bid to
<br />White Bear Dodge, Inc. for 54,596 including automatic transmission.

<br />Woodburn reported that due to delay In delivery and transportation
<br />needs of Parks Department, It would be necessary to rent or
<br />reimburse mileage for Buckley or Johansen, Woodburn moved,
<br />seconded by Wingert that Buckley be authorized to use his car at
<br />18~/mlle or lease appropriate car. After discussion, motion,
<br />accepted by second, was changed to rate of 15~/mlle. Motion
<br />carried unanimously,

<br />After review of Lynden's letter of 7/10/75, Win~ert moved. secnnded
<br />by Woodburn, that Councl I move. approv~1 of Revised Open Space,
<br />Easements and Covenants, authorizing execut'i.on by Mayor and Clerk.
<br />Motion carried unanimously.
<br />
<br />Lynden reviewed his letter of 7/14/75 concerning VA forms which
<br />Dreyfus requests Mayor and Attorney to execute, suggesting forms
<br />be amended as follows: "This Municipality will cause the Improve-
<br />ments to be co.mpleted."
<br />
<br />Crichton moved, se'conded by Feyereisen, that Mayor and Attorney
<br />sign appropriate forms as amended. Motion cariied unanimously.

<br />SNOWMOBILES ON LANDS NOT OWNED BY OPERATOR. Motion carried unanimously.

<br />Wingert moved, seconded by Woodburn, that AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING BY
<br />REFERENCE THE STATE BUILOING CODE: REGULATiNG THE ERECTION,
<br />CONSTRUCTION, ENLARGEMENT, ALTERATION, REPAIR, MOVING, REMOVAL,
<br />CONVERSION, DEMOLI1ION, OCCUPANCY, EQUIPMENT, USE, HE~GHT, AREA
<br />AND MAINTENANCE OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES IN THE CeTY OF ARDEN
<br />H1LLS; PROViDING FOR THE APPOINTMENT AND QUALIFICATIONS OF BUILDING,
<br />ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, HEATING AND LANDSCAPrNG INSPECTORS; REQUIRiNG
<br />PERMITS FOR CERTAI~ TYPES OF WORK AND ACTIVITIES; ESTABLISHING FEES
<br />FOR SUCH PERMITS; PROVIDING FOR INSPECTIONS: REPEALING ALL
<br />ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH; AND
<br />PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF be introduced by
