Letter or column should be timely enough to be current. <br /> <br />Locey offered to gather additional Information re the concerns of <br />Councl I and prepare an .Iternate proposal for Councl I consideration, <br />probably proposing 12 Issues of a 4 page newsletter a year. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE PLANNER RICHARD FREDLUND <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Case No. 75-21, Judith Tachenv - Sideyard Variance <br />Fredlund distributed copies of a contour map, indicating the <br />Tacheny lot and proposed garage addition, which requires a variance <br />of 4' from the west property line, to construct a 22' wide garage. <br />Fredlund reported that both the Board of Appeals and Planning <br />Commission recommended .Counci I approval of the variance requested. <br />Fredlund stated that the proposed garage wi II provide parktng for <br />more than I car - existing garage Is a "tuck-under", with access <br />from the side, which Is very Inconvenient; topography of the lof <br />prohibits the location of a garage elsewhere on the lot. <br /> <br />Wingert moved, seconded by Woodburn, that Council approve, primarily <br />on the safety Issue, the 4' sldeyard variance as requested. <br /> <br />In discussion, the 25 ft. aggregate sldeyard requirement was <br />discussed and, after determining that east side-yard Is not known, <br />Wingert withdrew his motion. <br /> <br />Matter was deferred to Councl I Meeting of May 27, 1975. <br /> <br />Case No. 75-20, Cardiac Pacemakers - Bui IdlnA Permit for Bid PackaRe <br />No. I. <br />Fredlund referred Counci I to the Minutes of the PIc~nnlng Commission <br />Meeting of May 6, 1975, reporting that the Planning Commission <br />recommends Council approval of Issuance of the Building Permit for <br />Bid Package No. I, which Includes clearing of the site, earth work, <br />underground mechanical and footing and foundation work subject to: <br />I. Submission of an amended site plan which indicates access <br />roads and parking for future stages of construction. <br />2. Submission of final construction plans for each of the <br />construction stages to the Planning Commission, prior to <br />Issuance of Building Permit. <br />3 Access roads to be 24' in width. <br />4. No exterior storage of oxygen or hydrogen be permitted. <br />5. No acids or chemicals be permitted to be discarded into <br />the City's sanitary sewer system. <br />6. Park dedication requirement be determined. <br />7. Drainage be llpprovedby Vi Ilage Engineer. <br /> <br />Bob Burow, Don Dietz, Art Schwalm and Larry McGough were present <br />and Burow explained that they would like to start construction by <br />June first in order to give Cardiac Pacemakers, Inc. occupancy by <br />June, 1976, and referred Counc! I to schedule of the three proposed <br />Bui Iding Permit packages. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Burow explained that Cardiac Pacemakers, Inc. has an option on 9 <br />acres for the 1st stage of construction, and reserved option on <br />the baiance of the 22 acre site, to be exerclsee in 5 years. <br /> <br />Burow referred Counel I to a model of the propo~ed building and 9 <br />acre site, and described the proposed building as bui It Into the <br />hi I I - 2-story on the south and east and i-story on the north and <br />west. In describing the parking arrangement, Burow explained that <br />the Hamllne access drive and parking lot Is to serve the office or <br />upper level of the bui Iding; the County Road F access and parking <br />lot will serve the lower level of the building - parking lots are <br />consi dared to be most functional In locations proposed. <br /> <br />Mr. Larry Roberts, 4132 James Circle, asked if a driveway can be <br />constructed across the Highway 51 road easement. <br /> <br />-4- <br /> <br />~ <br />
