Page 3, Special Condition No.7, Is to be re-written by Lynden <br />to include: guarantee provision, as well as "performance <br />bond"; inserting the fol lowing In line 7, to read: "...shrubs <br />Permittees are to plant on the development tract pursuant to <br />..."; reimbursement of landscape inspection fee by C. G. <br />Rein ($10.50/hr. plus 15(/:/mlte). <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Water Meter Charges <br />Lynden referred Council to his letter of 1/13/75 re customer water <br />meter deposits, and requested Counci l'S comments. <br /> <br />After discussion, Crichton moved, seconded by Wingert, that Counci I <br />direct Lynden to prepare an amendment to Ordinance No. 103, Incor- <br />porating "the rental approach" as outlined In his letter of 1/13/75. <br />Motion carried unanimously.. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE ENGINEER DONALD LUND <br />(Absent - no report) <br /> <br />Pemtom's Townhouse Villages North, First Addition - Letter re Utilities <br />Matter was deferred to next Counci I meeting. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE TREASURER RICHARD O'KELLY <br /> <br />Investments <br />I. January 21, 1975 - Invested $390,000 In the American <br />National Bank at 7.15% until September I I, 1975. <br />2. January 23, 1975 - Invested $125,000 In the First National <br />Bank of St. Paul at 7.125% for six months. <br /> <br />Feyereisen moved, seconded by Crichton, that Counci I confirm the in- <br />vestments as reported. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN JAMES WiNGERT - Planning and Zoning, Board of <br />Appeals <br /> <br />Case No. 73-49. Blue Fox Inn - Ben Goldberg <br />Mr. Goldberg presented a letter to the Council from Bachman's (1/21/75), <br />and an attached sketch, which Indicates replacement of three Spread- <br />Ing Junipers with three six-foot Techny ArborVitae; moving the Junipers <br />to the west boulevard area. <br /> <br />After discussion, Council approved the landscaping change proposed for <br />the west side of the building, but requested that Goldberg provide <br />landscaping and/or archit~ctural treatment to the north side of the <br />bui Iding to rectify the "stark appearance" of the north wal I. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Goldberg proposed that the Blue Fox Inn sign be changed as per sketch <br />presented to Councl I on 12/30/74, except "Blue Fox Inn" lettering to <br />be In French script; sign to have a white background with "Blue Fox <br />Inn" In blue, and "Cocktails" and "Food" in red; advised that the sign <br />changes can be accomplished within a few days after order Is placed. <br /> <br />Counci I approved the sign changes, as proposed. <br /> <br />Goldberg presented a "Roof Screening" plan, revised 1/24/75, with <br />the notation that the fencing will be completed by May 15, 197?r Mr. <br />Goldberg described the fencing to be natural redwood, which would en- <br />close al I roof equipment existing, and to be added In the future. <br /> <br />Council approved the Roof Screening plan, as presented. <br /> <br />Goldberg advised that striping of the parking lot wil I be completed <br />as soon as weather permits in the spring of 1975; stating that his <br />striping contractor advises that approximately 70-73 parking spaces <br />can be provided, which is In excess of the spaces provided in the <br />original plan. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
