Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Non-conforming Billboards <br />McNlesh referred Counci I to her memo (1/22/75). <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />After discussion, In which Council concurred that the non-conforming <br />billboards should be removed, Council requested that Lynden con- <br />sult with Courtney and to proceed with the proper course of action; <br />suggesting that the non-conforming signs and/or billboards be removed <br />by April I, 1975. <br /> <br />Flaherty's Request for Time Extension <br />McNlesh reported that FJahertys have asked for an extension of time <br />for removal, or abandon In place, of underground storage tanks, <br />pending determination of proposed use of the station (letter of re- <br />quest has not been received to date). <br /> <br />After discussion, Counci I agreed to grant an extension until the <br />February 10, 1975, Council Meeting; Clerk to Invite Flaherty to attend <br />meeting and submit proposal re use of this property. <br /> <br />Publ Ie Service Employment <br />McNiesh referred Council to her memo (1/24/75) re Ramsey County <br />Public ServLce Employment Program. <br /> <br />After discussion, Council agreed that participation In this program <br />would be beneficial and McNlesh was requested to proceed with appli- <br />cation for a Public Works and Parks Department maintenance m~n. <br /> <br />Apportionment _Resolution <br />Feyereisen moved, seconded by Crichton, that Council adopt Resolution <br />No. 75-9, RESOLUTION RELATING TO APPORTIONMENT OF ASSESSMENTS RELATING <br />TO WATER IMPROVEMENT NO. 72-1.
