Systems Office Bui Idlng <br />Crichton referred Counci 1 to a memo from Building Inspector Squires <br />re issuance of a Temporary Occupanee Permit. Council concurred with <br />the temporary occupancy, as outlined. <br /> <br />Parks and Recreation Committee Meetin~ <br />Crichton referred Councl I to Minutes of Parks and Recreation Committee <br />Meetings of January 14 and 21, 1975, noting that representatives of <br />various organizations we'"e present at the January 14th meeting, and <br />described their programs and how they relate to the municipal programs, <br />facilities used and/or needed, problems they have or anticipate in <br />the future etc. Crichton described the meeting as an "excellent Idea", <br />and reported that the Committee, In discussing the various problems <br />and troubles expressed, queries whether the municipalities are, In <br />fact, trying to solve school district problems, rather than municipal <br />problems. Crichton said that he and the Committee will be looking <br />Into this matter. <br /> <br />Valentine Rink <br />Wingert reported a complaint that hockey games, on a nightly basis, <br />are occurring around 10.:00-11:00 p.m., under the night light, at <br />Valentine Park, causing a noise distur~ance to residents nearby. <br /> <br />After discussion, matter was referred to Buckley to determine If <br />warming house Is open after regular hours, and to Police Department <br />to patrol, In an effort to discourage late and noisy games. <br /> <br />REPORT OF MAYOR HENRY J. CREPEAU, JR. - General Government, Public <br />Safety <br /> <br />1975 Committee Appointments <br />Crepeau referred Council to memo from McNlesh re status of various <br />Committees. <br /> <br />A. Planning Commissi~ <br />Feyereisen moved, seconded by Crichton, that Council approve <br />the appointment of Mrs. Judy Gors, as first alternate member <br />of the Planning Commission for 1975. . Motion carried unani- <br />mOUSly. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />B. Public Works Committee <br />Wingert moved, seconded by Feyereisen, that Counci I approve <br />the appointment of Mr. James Luban as a regular member of <br />the Public Works Committee for 1975. Motion carried unanl- <br />m.:Jus I y. <br /> <br />Councl I Meeting Schedule <br />After discussion of proposed schedules, Wingert moved, seconded by <br />Crichton, that Council schedule Special Council Meetings, commencing <br />at 7:30 p.m., on Monday, February lOth, Tuesday, February 18th and <br />Monday, February 24th; notices of meetings to be given publicity and <br />posted.
