<br /> Absent - None.

<br /> Approval of Minutes
<br /> Feyerelsen moved, seconded by Crichton, that the Council approve the
<br /> Minutes of the Regular Counci I Meeting of November 7, 1974, as amended.
<br /> Motion carried unanimously.
<br /> Clerk was requested to provide extra copies of the excerpt of the
<br /> C. G. Rein portion of the Counc I I Minutes of 11/7/74, for the Planning
<br /> Commission meeting on Tuesday, November 26th.
<br /> Mr. Owen Sorenson
<br /> Mr. Sorenson, S"tri nge r , Donnelly, Courtney, Cowie and Rohleder, referred
<br /> Counc i I to Attorney Lynden's letter of October 25, ,1974 re Proposa I for
<br /> City Prosecutor Services, outlining Mr. Sorenson's quallficjltions and
<br /> asking that Council give favorable consideration to having Mr. Sorenson
<br /> act as City Prosecutor for Arden Hills during the year 1975.
<br /> Mr. Sorenson answered Counci I questions re his qualiflc'ations and
<br /> experience and briefly discussed prosecutor's role under Ramsey County
<br /> Court system.
<br /> REPORT OF VILLAGE ATTORNEY JAMES LYNDEN
<br /> Case No. 74-14, Pemtom, Inc. - Registered Land Survey for North PUD
<br /> Lynden referred Council to his let1"er of November 20, 1974.
<br /> Wingert moved, seconded by Feyerelsen, that Counc I I approve Reg Is-
<br /> teted"Lt'Jild S'urvey, as submitted, authorizing Its execution by the
<br /> Mayor ana Clerk Administrator. Motion carried Unanimously.
<br /> Amendment to Ordinance No. 49
<br /> Lynden referred Counci I to his letter of November 25, 1974, and accom-
<br /> panying draft of an Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 49.
<br /> After a brief review, Wingert moved, seconded by Olmen, that the Council
<br /> introduce by title AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 49, WHICH REGU-
<br /> LATES THE CITY'S MUNICIPAL SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM, BY INCORPORATING BY
<br /> REFERENCE PERTINENT PROVISIONS OF THE MINNESOTA PLUMBING CODE AND THE
<br /> SEWAGE AND WASTE CONTROLS AND REGULATIONS FOR THE METROPOLITAN DISPOSAL
<br /> SYSTEM. Motion carried unanimously.
<br /> McGuire's Ramada Inn 0, Assignment of City's Claim in Bankrul'1tcy t2-
<br /> ... Limited Partnership
<br /> Lynden referred Counc i I to his letter of November 2!, 1974, informing
<br /> the Counc II that he now understands that the delinquent license fees
<br /> of $257.00 will be paid this week; therefore, this amount has been
<br /> added to the Assignment.
<br /> After discussion, Crichton moved, seconded by Wingert, that the Counc i I
<br /> approve the assignment, in the amount of $9,297.74, as written, adding
<br /> " license and"..., contingent on the license fees actually being pa i d
<br /> this week. Motion carried unanimously.
<br /> McOonald's Declaratory Judgement Action
<br /> Lynden advised that the Notice of Hearing Date had been sent by the
<br /> Cour~ to Vi Ilage Prosecuting Attorney Farlcy. .
<br /> Council, after discussion, determined this to be a matter of defense
<br /> rather than prosecution, and requested that the City clarify the matter
<br /> for transfer to Lynden.
