<br />. , , ~--.J. <br /> Minutes of Regular Council Meeting September 30, 1974 <br /> Page four <br /> Resolution No. 74-31 - Certifying Delinquent Utility Accounts for Collection with Taxes <br /> Crichton moved, seconded by Feyereisen, that the Council adopt Resolution No. 74-31, <br /> RESOLUTION CERTIFYING DELINQUENT UTILITY ACCOUNTS TO RAMSEY COUNTY FOR COLLECTION WITH <br /> TAXES. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Approval of Kathleen Goserud as Cmmllittee Secretary <br /> Feyereisen moved, seconded by Crichton, that the Council approve the part-time employ- <br /> ment of Kathleen Goserud at $2.75 per hour as Committee secretary. Motion carried unani- <br /> mously. <br /> Payroll <br /> Crichton moved, seconded by Olmen, that the Council approve the Payroll as submitted. <br />. . Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Finance Committee Meeting - October 10 <br /> McNiesh repovted that John McCarthy will review the audit of Village accounts at the <br /> Finance Committee Meeting on October 10th. <br /> Crichton suggested that accounting procedures re Self-sustaining Park Fund be evaluated. <br /> Arden Manor Mobile Home Park <br /> McNiesh reported that Mr. Adams phoned at 8:30 p.m. tonight, advising he will attend <br /> tonight's meeting, requesting approval of occupancy of the mobile home park pending <br /> Engineer Lund's approval of the well on which a new pump has been installed (test to <br /> be made on Tuesday). <br /> (Adams did not appear as of 11:00 p.m.) <br /> Mr. and Mrs. Hutton, requested Council approval to hook up their mobile home to sewer <br /> and water at this time; occupancy to be delayed until Council approves park for occupancy. <br /> Council noted that the mobile home hook-up to sewer and water is permitted, but it is <br /> not known at this time when occupancy of the park will be approved. <br /> Council discussed the latest water test made by Engineer Lund (letter of 9/27/74) and <br /> determined that some definitive action must be taken to force compliance with the con- <br /> struction contract, prior to permitting occupancy of the park. <br /> In discussion of mobile home and license ordinances, it appeared sales office may be <br /> in violation of license ordinance No. 162 and occupancy of the park at this time may <br /> be in violation of several sections of Ord. 147, Mobile Home Ordinance. <br /> After discussion of several alternative actions, Crichton moved, seconded by Wingert, <br /> that Council authorize Attorney Lynden to write to Mr. Adams on Tuesday, October 1, <br /> (certified mail) requiring him to evacuate that portion of the mobile home park (new <br /> .section) which has not been approved for occupancy; all occupants to be evacuated <br /> by Saturday, October 5, 1974; also to apprise Adams of other violations.
