Minutes of Regular Council Meeting Page two September 9, 1974 After discussion, Wingert moved, seconded by Feyerelsen, that the Councl I approve the Development Agreement Re Hunters Park Fourth Addition, as presented, subject to correction In title to "Fourth" Addition; authorizing Its execution by the Mayor and Clerk Adminis- trator after It has been executed by Dreyfus Interstate Development Corporation. Motion carried unanimoUSly. (It was noted that park dedication Is not Included In the Development Agreement.) Hunters Park PlantIng Lynden reviewed a letter request from Dreyfus Interstate reQuesting the Inspection and acceptance of plantlngs Instal led on August 19, 1974; one year guarantee beginning on receIpt In wrIting of acceptance. . Mr. Schwa.kopf explaIned that once the grade is established, plantlngs are Installed; Intent Is to plant as much as possible during the plant- ing season. The Council concurred that the phased planting, as described, would be acceptable and InspectIons wIll be made accordingly, Hunters Park, Third Addition - Final Plat Wingert referred the Council to reports from the EngIneer, Attorney. Planning CommIssion and Planner, all Indicating that the FInal Plat conforms to the PrelIminary Plat of Third AddItion. After discussIon, Wingert moved that the Council approve the Final Plat of Hunters Park, Third Addition, as presented. MotIon was seconded by Crichton and carried unanlmuosly. Hunters Park, Fourth Add.ltlon - Preliminary Plat Wingert revIewed the Planning Commission recommendatIons (Minutes of 9/3/74), reports from the Engineer (9-3-74) and Planner (9-3-74) and letter from Attorney Lynden re alternative park dedicatIon methods (8-29-74) . After discussIon of the three park dedication alternatIves, Crichton moved, seconded by Wingert, that the Councl I Instruct the Attorney to proceed with the third alternate (Attorney's letter of 8-29-74). Motion carried unanimously. (Lynden noted that the park dedicatIon wi II not be shown on the plat, but will be a separate Instrument filed contemporaneously with the Plat.) REPORT OF VILLAGE ENGINEER DONALD lUND , New BrIghton Road Drainage - BIds Lund revIewed the eIght bIds received for the New BrIghton Road Storm Sewer Project and referred the CouncIl to the tabulation of bIds of the three low bidders and to hIs letter of September 9, 1974, explaining his reasons for recommending that the bId be awarded to the second low bidder. Mr. Dick lund, Underground UtIlities Company (low bidder) was present and explaIned that Underground Uti Iltles has recently merged with B & B Excavating Company (Mr, Borchert, President), and they are completing B & B Excavating Company contracts; they are not B & B ContractIng Company doIng business under a new name. He saId they have been engaged In Iowa, particularly wlth Northwestern Bell Telephone Company, Instal- ling underground cable, etc. -2-
