Motion carried unanimoUSly. <br /> <br />(It was noted that park dedication Is not Included In the Development <br />Agreement.) <br /> <br />Hunters Park PlantIng <br />Lynden reviewed a letter request from Dreyfus Interstate reQuesting <br />the Inspection and acceptance of plantlngs Instal led on August 19, <br />1974; one year guarantee beginning on receIpt In wrIting of acceptance. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mr. Schwa.kopf explaIned that once the grade is established, plantlngs <br />are Installed; Intent Is to plant as much as possible during the plant- <br />ing season. <br /> <br />After dIscussion of the plantIng substitutIons and revIew of Planner <br />SchmId's report (8-30-74), Schwawkopf assured the Council that, If <br />substItutions a~i~L~~~~o~9YJ.~~tlon will be given, and <br />approval reques~~~1n~ditl-~ne-'~~4 fal I plantlngs, he said <br />he anticipates plantlngs next spring and next fall, requiring two more <br />InspectIons In 1975. <br /> <br />The Council concurred that the phased planting, as described, would be <br />acceptable and InspectIons wIll be made accordingly, <br /> <br />Hunters Park, Third Addition - Final Plat <br />Wingert referred the Council to reports from the EngIneer, Attorney. <br />Planning CommIssion and Planner, all Indicating that the FInal Plat <br />conforms to the PrelIminary Plat of Third AddItion. <br /> <br />After discussIon, Wingert moved that the Council approve the Final <br />Plat of Hunters Park, Third Addition, as presented. MotIon was seconded <br />by Crichton and carried unanlmuosly. <br /> <br />Hunters Park, Fourth Add.ltlon - Preliminary Plat <br />Wingert revIewed the Planning Commission recommendatIons (Minutes of <br />9/3/74), reports from the Engineer (9-3-74) and Planner (9-3-74) and <br />letter from Attorney Lynden re alternative park dedicatIon methods <br />(8-29-74) . <br /> <br />After discussIon of the three park dedication alternatIves, Crichton <br />moved, seconded by Wingert, that the Councl I Instruct the Attorney to <br />proceed with the third alternate (Attorney's letter of 8-29-74). Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />(Lynden noted that the park dedicatIon wi II not be shown on the plat, <br />but will be a separate Instrument filed contemporaneously with the Plat.) <br /> <br />Wingert moved, seconded by Feyerelsen, that the Council <br />Preliminary Plat of Hunters Park, Fourth AdditIon, as s <br />carrIed unanImously. <br /> <br /> <br />app rove the <br />bmllJ.~hv M~..!.~u.L <br />~-.r;;;Z;P' <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE ENGINEER DONALD lUND <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />New BrIghton Road Drainage - BIds <br />Lund revIewed the eIght bIds received for the New BrIghton Road Storm <br />Sewer Project and referred the CouncIl to the tabulation of bIds of the <br />three low bidders and to hIs letter of September 9, 1974, explaining <br />his reasons for recommending that the bId be awarded to the second low <br />bidder. <br /> <br />Mr. Dick lund, Underground UtIlities Company (low bidder) was present <br />and explaIned that Underground Uti Iltles has recently merged with B & B <br />Excavating Company (Mr, Borchert, President), and they are completing <br />B & B Excavating Company contracts; they are not B & B ContractIng <br />Company doIng business under a new name. He saId they have been engaged <br />In Iowa, particularly wlth Northwestern Bell Telephone Company, Instal- <br />ling underground cable, etc. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
