<br />-....... <br />. <br /> <br />Minutes of Regular Councl I Meeting <br />Page two <br /> <br />June 24, 1974 <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE ENGINEER DONALD LUND <br /> <br />Arden Manor - Status Report <br />Engl neer Lund referred the Council to Report No. 12 (6-20-74) from <br />Suburban Engineering and to his letter of 6-24-74 re status of utili- <br />ties In Arden Manor Mobile Home Park; advising that Mr. Adams has been <br />requested to correct al I deficiencies In the sewer system and have <br />system ready for an Inspection within a week or so; final Inspection <br />to be made by Suburban Engineering Company's inspector, a man from the <br />Village Public Works Department and a man from Banister's office. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Pemtom Planned Unit Development - Utilities <br />Lund referred the Council to his letter of 6-24-74 re Inspection of <br />uti Iltles recently constructed In the Pemtom PUD; Pemtom Is to make <br />all adjustments and call for a final Inspection which will be made <br />by Suburban Engineering Company's Inspector, a man from the VI I lage <br />Public Wo~ks Department and a man from Ba~lster's office. <br /> <br />Lamb ros Ditch <br />After dlscussl~, of letter dated 6/11/74, from Northdaie Construction <br />Company, Wingert moved, seconded by Olmen, that the Councl I approve <br />a time extensIon on the Lambros DItch Project untl I the end of August, <br />1974. Motlo.n carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Nursery Hili Utilities <br />Lund referred the Councl I to his letter of 6/24/74. After discussion, <br />Feyerelsen moved, seconded by Wingert, that the Council approve a con- <br />nection charge of $1200 for the 3.82 acres of Nursery Hili pl",t not <br />previously assessed for sanitary sewer In' Improvement 12-13 (approxi- <br />mately 75% of acreage charge assessed under this Improvement), In lieu <br />of the acreage charge. <br /> <br />After further discussion, motion and second were withdrawn and C~lchton <br />moved, seconded by Feyereisen, that Councl I refer the matter to the <br />Finance Committee for Its recommendations of a connection charge for <br />the 3.82 acres of Nursery HIli, not assessed for sanitary sewer In <br />Inprovement 12-13. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />REPORT OF V~LLAGE TREASURER RI~HARD O'KELLY <br /> <br />Invel;tments <br />Treasurer O'Kelly reported an Investment on June 19 of $350,000 @ <br />10.80% Interest for two months; reporting that he will Invest $310,000 <br />on June 25, for 90 days, @ 11.15% Inte~est. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN JAMES WINGERT - Planning and Zoning, Board of <br />Appeals <br /> <br />Case No. 74-15, Steak Inn - Sui Idlng Permit <br />Wln~ert reviewed Engineer Lund's report of 6-18-74 and ~he Planning <br />Commission's recommendations of 6-18-74. <br /> <br />After discussion, Wingert moved, seconded by CrIchton, that the Councl I <br />approve the Issuance of the Building Permit, subject to receipt of: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />I. Amended grading plans showing changes proposed and accepted <br />by Village Engl neer. <br />2. Landscape bond In amount of 125% of fl~m bid re approved <br />landscape plan. <br /> <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Service Drive Easement <br />Mr. Hage reported that a request to release the 50' road easement across <br />the Standard 01 I property I'll II be forthcoming; there appears to be no <br />need to provide for this service drive since the widening of County <br />Road E. <br /> <br />Clerk Administrator McNlesh was requested to determine status of proposed <br />se~vlce drive and easements held for same between Hfghw3Y 51 and Lex- <br />Ington Avenue. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
