Mr. Schutta wants assurance he wi II not be <br />assessed. <br /> <br />Lund advised that that portion of Nursery Hili, In excess of 200' <br />from Hamllne Avenue, has not been assessed for sewer and water. <br />Counci I requested Lund to determine what acreage charge for this <br />area would have been, and to check with Popovich and Lynden re pos- <br />sible charges for connection to utilities for areas not previously <br />assessed. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE TREASURER RICHARD O'KELLY <br />(Absent - Report by C. McNlesh) <br /> <br />The $50,000 Investment which matured June 3rd has been reinvested <br />In Treasury Bills @ 8.5% dl scount until June 19, 1974, at which <br />time it wi II be combined with a maturing Certificate of Deposit <br />and reinvested. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN JAMES WINGERT - Planning and Zoning, Board <br />of Appeals <br /> <br />Case No. 74-15.. Steak Inn - Fill Permit <br />Wingert referred the Councl I to the Planning Commission Minutes <br />of June 4, 1974, reporting that Rice Creek Watershed District has <br />approved the fill plans, and, because fill Is available now, the <br />Planning Commission recommends Councl I approval of the Fill Permit. <br /> <br />Wingert moved, seconded by Olmen. that Councl I approve the Fill <br />Permit In accordance with plan approved by Rice Creek Watershed <br />01 strl ct. <br /> <br />In discussion, It was noted that a proposed State-aid road, extend- <br />Ing Harriet Avenue from Lexington Avenue west to a point parallel to <br />to Highway 51, and north to County Road E, Is currently Indicated <br />In this area; fl II permit could be approved with the understanding <br />that permission to fill the property does not give permission to <br />build the restaurant. <br /> <br />This was agreeable to Mr. Hage, and the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Case <br />A. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />C. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />No, 73-28, Dreyfus - Hunters P~: <br />FIQal Plat Approval - Hunters Park Second Addltl~ <br />Council action wes deferred pending Attorney Lynden's review <br />of Open Space Easements and Covenants and Landscape Bond. <br /> <br />Amended Landscape Plan - Hunters Park <br />Wingert moved that the Council concur with the Planning Commis- <br />sion's recommendation that Councl I approve the Amended Land- <br />scape Plan for Hunters Park and the landscape bond, In amount <br />of 125% of "firm bid" presented. Motion was seconded DY <br />Feyerelsen and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Harriet Avenue Extension <br />Wingert reported that the Planning Commission recommends the <br />extension of Harriet Avenue west from Lexington Avenue to a <br />point parallel to Highway 51, and an access road from Harriet <br />Avenue (extended) to County Road E and from Harriet Avenue <br />(extended) to the Intersection of Ingerson Road and Hamllne <br />Avenue; recommendIng that Councl I authorize a feasibility study <br />as soon as possible to determine appropriate location and cost <br />estimate of proposed State-aid road. <br /> <br />Wingert moved, seconded by Feyereisen, that the Councl I authorize <br />the feasibility study recommended by the Planning Commission. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Matter referred to Wingert to pursue. <br /> <br />Case No. 74-19, Andrew Ho~klns - Variance <br />Wingert reported that the Board of Appeals and Planning Commission <br />recommend Council approval of ,the variance and Issuance of the <br /> <br />-2- <br />
