Feyerelsen <br />said he felt this Is a reasonable price for this property, which <br />Included approximately $5,000 worth of nursery stoc~ and a uti llty <br />assessment about 200 ft. deep along Hamllne Avenue.~~~~ ~ <br />~", (JIfJ~/ <br />Feyerelsen moved that the Councl I approve a $2,300 ca park dedl- <br />... <br />cation. Motion was seconded by Olmen. <br /> <br />After discussion, Council agreed to deduct the nursery stock, but <br />not to deduct the utilities assessments from the land valuation <br />f I gu re. f,tf'NrJ) <br />(j""'1~'J. <br />Feyerelsen amended his motion to approve a $25004park donation. <br />Amended motion was seconded by Olmen and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />In~erson Park Access <br />Feyerelsen referred the Council to a memo from John Buckley re <br />proposed Moss property purchase for access to Ingerson Park, and <br />reported that the Parks Committee recommends that the Council authorize <br />this purchase. <br /> <br />In discussion, Importanca of this access was questioned; $5,000 was <br />considered to be a high ~rlce, especially with stipulations requested. <br />Alternate access possibilities were discussed, and the matter was <br />re fe rred to Buck I ey and the Parks Comm I ttee to research. <br /> <br />Gymnastic Assistant <br />Feyerelsen moved, seconded by Wingert, that the Councl I approve <br />payment In the amount of $39.00 to Jerry Pepper, Gymnastic Assistant. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Bethel Golle~e Student H0uslng - Fire Safety Status Report <br />Zoning Administrator was requested to obtain a progress report re <br />compliance with fire safety requirements In the townhouse student <br />housing area of the Bethel College campus, for Councl I review at <br />the next Council Meeting. <br /> <br />REPORT OF MAYOR HENRY J. CREPEAU, JR - General Government, Public <br />Safety <br /> <br />Control of Recreational Vehicles <br />Crepeau reported that tho Public Safety Committee recommends an <br />Arden Hills Ordinance slrallar to the Shorevlew Ordinance for control <br />of recreational vehicles. <br /> <br />Police Chief Sexton stated that the Shorevlew Ordinance generally <br />fol lows State Statutes. <br /> <br />After discussion, Council concurred that enforcement of State Statutes <br />would probably resolve the problem In Arden HI lis; Counc( I would be <br />receptive to a Village Ordinance If It Is determined that this would <br />make enforcement easier. <br /> <br />Sexton said the Police Department Is presently <br />and most violators have been very cooperative. <br />posted by property owners In a short time. <br /> <br />quoting State Statute, <br />Trouble areas wi II be <br /> <br />-4- <br />
