The sewer lines and manholes need cleaning. <br /> <br />Lund assured the Council that corrective action will be taken to obtain <br />adequate compaction and compression tests wi 1 I be run: work wi I I be <br />required to be rG-done, If necessary: no further connections to sewer <br />lines \~1I1 be allowed until assured there Is no Infiltration. <br /> <br />The Counci I requested Engineer Lund and Inspector West to Inspect the <br />sewer connections which have been made. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mr. Adams explained that he did not understand that sewer connections <br />could not be made; although the connections have been made, the lines <br />are not I n use. <br /> <br />Pro~osed House Removal <br />Adams explained that he has a buyer for the house at 1964 Mounds Avenue, <br />and he desires to move two, and hopefully all three, houses from the <br />park; proposing to leave this area open; not proposing additional units. <br /> <br />The Councl I determined that this would constitute a change from ~he <br />plans shown to the Council on February II. 1974, and requested that <br />Mr. Aaa,s submit plans to the Village Council on May 28, 1974, Indicat- <br />Ing the resultant topography and proposed land use changes. for Council <br />consideration: no houses to be moved prior to obtaining Council approval <br />of the proposed plan changes. <br /> <br />IlleQal Pumping of Storm Drainage <br />The Council referred a memo from Bud Johansen, dated 5/10/74 and 5/13/74 <br />re Illegal discharge of surface water Into sanitary sewers to Don Lund. <br /> <br />Clerk Administrator McNlesh was requested to prepare letter to residents <br />informing of regulation prohibiting storm water ~un-off draining Into <br />sanitary sewer system; letter to be Included with next utility billing; <br />separate letter to be sent to business places officials, advising of <br />this regulation (not a utility bill enclosure). <br /> <br />Engineer Lund was requested to suggest methods to prevent this Illegal <br />flowage Into the sewer system, and Building and Plumbing Inspectors to <br />be advised of the problem. <br /> <br />REPORT OF TREASURER RICHARD O'KELLY <br /> <br />O'Kelly reported an Investment of $100.000 on May 2nd, for 30 days <br />@ 10.95% Interest, and a $110.000 Investment on May 10th for 90 days <br />@ 10.95%, at First Nat!onal Bank o-f Sf.
