Area Representative <br />Boemer, Local 49, requesting to meet and negotiate an agreement for <br />1975. <br /> <br />A negotiating committee was appointed, consisting of Councilmen Crichton <br />and Olmen; Attorney Lynden to assist. <br /> <br />Juran and Moody.. Inc. Lette," <br />Mayor Crepeau referred the Council to a letter from Juran and Moody, <br />Inc., requesting to meet with the Counci 1 re Municipal Industrial <br />Development Revenue Bonds (I.C. Sys'~ems, Inc.). <br /> <br />After discussion, the Counci I requested the Clerk Administrator to <br />Inquire Into advantages for Arden HI I Is and to request a written reply <br />to the Counc II . <br /> <br />Public Safet'{ Committee Meeting - AprIl I, 1974: <br />A. ~.!:. - Mayor Crepeau re'/al"red the Council to a memo from <br />Chief Sexton re a new moving radar unit which the Public <br />Safety Committee recommends be purchased for the Arden Hi I Is <br />Police Department. <br /> <br />After review of the memo and dlscussion, the Council concurred <br />'~hat the unit would be desirable, and suggested that the Village <br />rent the unit ona trial basis, for the 3 or 4 months per <br />agreement; ChIef Sexton to check into the rental agreement re <br />application of rent to the purchase price and to detarmins <br />when and I f matching funds wi II again be avai Iable. <br />B. Do~ Llcenslna - Mayor Crepeau reported that the Committee noted <br />an increasing dog problem In Arden Hl\ls and suggested that <br />Lifetime Dog Licensing be considered. The matter was deferred <br />for Councl I consideration at a tater date. <br /> <br />Liquor Ordlnan~~ Amendment <br />The proposed Liquor Ordr;ancs amendment re evacuation of establishments <br />at closing time was referred to Attorney Lynden to prepare an ordinance <br />amending the Liquor Ordinance.. <br /> <br />L3tter of Commendation - Officer Caron <br />Mayor CI:epeau referred the Council tea memo from Chief Sexton re pol Ice <br />work performed by Officer Caron. <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />The Council concurred with Chief Sexton that Mr. Caron should be commen- <br />ded for his fine pollee work and Mayor Crepeau offered to write to Mr. <br />Caron expressing the Councl I's appreciation for a job wet I done. <br /> <br />Land Use Request <br />Mayor Crepeau referred the Council to an inquiry from Mr. R. Samuelson, <br />C, G. ReIn Company, re recommended land use for acreage they own adjacent <br />to Cleveland Avenue, between County Roads D and E and New Brighton Road, <br />other than single family residences which he says are prohibitive In <br />cost. <br /> <br />The matter was referred to the Planning Commission for Its recommenda- <br />tions. <br /> <br />OH~-sale Liquor LicEl.n~ <br />Mayor Crepeau reported that, in another inquiry from R. Samuelson, C. G. <br />Rein Company, he asks thai. the Coune!
