<br />. <br /> <br />, .--' ~~inutes of Regular Council Meeting <br />Page five <br /> <br />March II, 1974 <br /> <br />North Suburban Da~ Activlt~ Center <br />Feyerelsen reported that two or three Arden HI lis residents are en- <br />rolled In the North Suburban Day Activity Center, and moved that <br />the Council approve Vi Ilage of Arden Hi lis participation, and con- <br />tribution of $362.40, as requested, for 1973-74. Motion was seconded <br />by Crichton and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Clerk Administrator was requested to~ payment for this contribu- <br />tion from Account No. 4550-379. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Pork ~eQu(~ltIQn - Stltus Report <br />Moss Propertv - 8uckley reported that a written appraisal has <br />not been received from Mr. Bettendorf, to date, re the Moss property, <br />which Is proposed to give access to Ingerson Park; Mr. Bettendorf's <br />verbal appraisal is below the Moss appraisal figure. <br /> <br />After discussion, Buckley and/or Parks and Recreation Sub-committee <br />was requested to pursue the possibility of obtaining a walking ease- <br />ment over the exIsting 15' wide sewer easement. <br /> <br />Karth Lake area - Buckley explained that the Committee's prefer- <br />ence Is the Cummings property, but have had difficulty making contact <br />with this owner; the second preference being the Amble property, north <br />of this property. <br /> <br />Buckley reported that Mr. Amble has expressed agreement that this area <br />is of scenic value to the VI I lage and Is agreeable to sel ling; he Is <br />talking with his attorney, and has agreed to permit the Vii lage to <br />appraise his property. <br /> <br />After discussion, Buckley was requested to consider a spilt appraisal; <br />the west side of the property possibly being of more Interest to the <br />Village. Buckley was asked to obtain costs of appraisals of the prop- <br />erty, not of the land at this time, and to report findings to the <br />Council. <br /> <br />REPORT OF MAYOR HENRY J. CREPEAU, JR - General Business, Public <br />Safety <br /> <br />Letter from Governor Anderson - Conference <br />Mayor Crepeau referred the Council to a letter from Governor Anderson <br />inviting Arden HI I Is to send a representative to the Conference on <br />Natural Disasters. <br /> <br />Clerk Administrator McNlesh was asked to request a synopsis of the <br />conference from Rosevil Ie, New Brighton or Shorevlew; there being no <br />one from Arden HI lis to attend. <br /> <br />Evaluation of Sal~ry - Off leer Picha <br />Matter was deffered, pendIng receipt of "ranking list" whiCh had been <br />requested. <br /> <br />Part-time Patrolman - Jeff Rexelssn <br />Matter was deferred, pending Crepeau and Crichton discussing budget <br />with Pollee Chief Sexton. <br /> <br />4It REPORT OF CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE MCNIESH <br /> <br />Claims aod Payrol I <br />Wingert moved, seconded <br />approved as presented. <br /> <br />by Crichton, that the Claims and Payroll be <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Ad.iournment <br /> <br />~~'30 <br /> <br />Charlotte McNiesh <br />Clerk Administrator <br /> <br />p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />Notice of Meetlnq: Next Regular Councl I Meeting - March 25, 1974, at <br />8:00 p.m. at the Vi llage Hall. <br /> <br />-5- <br />
