CREPEAU, JR. - General Government, Public <br />Safety <br /> <br />Basic Tr~lniijg Course <br />Mayor Crepeau reported that Wi liard John is currently takIng hIs <br />Bureau of Criminal Apprehension Basic Training Course. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Distribution of Fine Money - HI~hway Patrol Tlcket~ <br />Crepeau reported that the bill (HF 17 10) proposed to chan ge the d I s- <br />tributlon of fine money for highway patrol tickets, was opposed by <br />the County. Crepeau reported that he and Attorney Salland had appeared <br />at the hearing for HF 1710. At ~rasent 5/8 goes to State and 3/8 to <br />~ounty. Since the Village provides the prosecutor, It Is hoped that <br />distribution of fines wi II be amended as follows: <br />50% to the State; 25% to the County; 25% to the Village <br /> <br />Salary Review - John Picha <br />Mayor Crepeau reviewed a memo from Police Chief Sexton proposing <br />a salary schedule change for John Picha. <br /> <br />Wingert moved, seconded by Feyerelsen, that the Council approve the <br />sa!ary f~r PIcha as propor.ed i $5.60/hr. <br /> <br />After discussion, the motion and second, were withdrawn, and the <br />matter wes deferred to the Council meeting on February 25, 1974. <br /> <br />REPORT OF CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE MCNIESH <br /> <br />~Iary Review - Betty Sorensen and Geraldine Beck <br />After review of propOSed salary increase for Geraldine Beck and Betty <br />Sorensen, Feyereissn moved, seconded by Crichton, that the hourly rate <br />for Betty Sorensen be Increased to $3.00/hr. and for Geraldine Beck <br />to $3.20/hr, effective March I, 1974. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Request tor Waiver of Fee for Contour Maps <br />After review of letter from Ramsey County Open Sp.ce, the Council <br />requested Mr. Buckley to contact Ramsey County Open Space re the <br />request; advising that reproducible contour maps will cost $4.00/acre <br />and blue-line copies $3.00/sheet. <br /> <br />Resolution Re Transfer of Dlt~hes from ~amsey County to Rice Creek <br />Watershed District <br />Clerk Administrator McNlesh reported receipt of communication from <br />Ramsey County Board of Commissioners that County has approved the <br />transfer of Ramsey County Ditches 1,2,3,4,5,8,11 and 12, as per <br />Village Resolution No. 74-5, to the Rice Creek Watershed District <br />Board of Managers. <br /> <br />Financial Statement <br />McNlesh reported that the <br />~~l.d to the Council this <br />on February 28. <br /> <br />.
