LUTION ABATING 1973 INSTALLMENTS OF ASSESSMENTS DUE ON GRAY FOX ROAD <br />AND ON DUNLAP STREET AND AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR ABATEMENT OF <br />1973 TAXES DUE THEREON. <br /> <br />Crichton moved, seconded by Olmen, that the Council adopt Resolu- <br />tion No. 74-6 as amended. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />(Blanks to be filled In by Clerk Administrator McNlesh) <br /> <br />Ordinance Adoptlnq Uniform Fire Code <br />The Council referred a proposed enacting or'dlnal'lce, adopting a <br />Uniform Fire Code, to Attorney Lynden for his comments and recom- <br />mendations. <br /> <br />(Vlllag~ Involved are North Oaks, Shorevlew and Arden Hills.) <br /> <br />REPORT OF ENGINEER DONALD LUND <br /> <br />Aerial Survey Maps - Reproduction Char~es and Status Reporl <br />Engineer Lund reported that the aerial contour maps are now complete <br />and blue-line copies, as wet I as sepia duplicates, have been prepared <br />for use In the Village office. Lund referred to his letter to <br />Charlotte McNlesh (1-17-74) regardIng proposed methods of calculating <br />charges for the purchase of certain acreage and surrounding areas; <br />asking the Council '5 direction as to how to measure the acreage to <br />be paid for. <br /> <br />After review of the sepias ot the originals and discussion re possible <br />methods of.calculatlng charges, Crichton moved that the Council adopt <br />a charge of $4.00/acre, with the right to reproduce for own purposes, <br />or $3.00/sheet without the right to repr?duce. Motion was seconded by <br />.~ <br />Dlmen and carried (Crepeau, Crichton, Olmen and Wingert voting In favor <br />of the motion; Feyerelsen abstaln!ng), <br /> <br />It ~as noted that the copyright legend is to be Included On each sheet. <br /> <br />Arden Manor - Status Report <br />a. Uti Ilty Constru~tlon - Engineer Lund reported that, accord- <br />Ing to a letter he received from Suburban Engineering Co., <br />construction operations have ceased for the season at Arden <br />Ma nor. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The Councl I deferred the matter to February 11th. <br /> <br />Clerk Administrator McNlesh was requested to notify Mr. <br />Adams that the Council Is contemplating the rescinding of <br />the Special Use Permit, and to Invite Mr. Adams and his <br />agent to appear before the Councl I on February I I, to <br />present a progress report and a time table that he can meet. <br /> <br />b. Sewer Meterlnq Recommendations - Engineer Lund reviewed his <br />letter of 1-28-74, re sewage metering methods, but suggested <br />that a preferable solution would be to make sure the developer <br />installs a tight sewer; could be metered temporarily. (Banister <br />has equipment to check flows on a temporary basis). He ad- <br />vised that the fewer meters the Village has, the better. <br />Tabled to later meeting. <br />-2- <br />
