Zon I"g Ord Inllncll <br />to Planning Commission. ~otion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN STAN OLMEN - Finance <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />SReclal Finance Committee Meetin~ of January 24 <br />Mr. John Simon reviewed the Minutes of the Special Finance Committee <br />Meeting of January 24, 1974, and reported that the Finance Committee <br />recommends Council changing the Vii lage general Insurance carrier <br />from Home Insurance Co. to Reliance Insurance Company, after con- <br />sideration of three agency proposals presented by Alexander & Alexan- <br />der, Remole Agency and Hlte Agency, Involving two companIes, Reliance <br />Insurance Company and Home InsurancB Company. <br /> <br />Mr. Simon explained that the difference In cost by the two agencies <br />representing Rei lance Insurance Co. Is because the Hlte Agency used <br />"equity rating for Institutional policy" which he said reduced the <br />agent's commission. <br /> <br />Simon further explained that the Finance Committee recommends an <br />Increase In Errors and Omissions coverage by the Hite Agency to <br />$1,000,000.00. There will be an Increas of about $25.00 In his <br />proposal primarily due to change In deductible on one of the cover- <br />ages,. <br /> <br />Afte~ discussion, Olmen moved that the Council award the bid to the <br />Hite Agency, for Village general insurance, at a cost of SI0,608.00; <br />Errors and Omissions to be Increased to $1,000,000.00. Motion was <br />seconded by Feyerelsen and ,carried unanimously. <br /> <br />'Mayor Crepeau thanked Mr. Simon and his Committee for their time <br />and effort on this study. <br /> <br />Mr. Buckley and Mrs. McNlesh were roquested to check with the Hlte <br />Agency re liability coverage for recreation activities on properties <br />other than those owned by the Village. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN CHARLES CRICHTON - Pub! ic Works, Ordinance <br />Rev I e\1 <br /> <br />Requests for Reimbursement of Sewer Connection Costs: <br />ROllinger - Referre~ to the P~bllc Works Committee for com- <br />ments and recommendations. <br />Moore - Crichton reported that the Public Works Committee <br />recommends that some re-imbursement be granted to <br />Mr. Moore. Matter was referred to Crichton to <br />negotiate claim with Mr. Moore. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />f~bllc Works Committee Meeting of Junuary 16 <br />Crichton reported that tha YI llage gasoline storage tank contained <br />approximately 3,000 gal Ions at the time of the Public Works Com- <br />mittee Meeting (2,000 gallons as at tonight), and no supplier has <br />baen found to data. He reported that the Village is currently <br />working with Civil Defense in an effort to find a supplier, but the <br />Commlttee~re'Ql~J:l1~.d~,.t~llJ.}Jl.!'l, VI! lage cease using the Village supply <br />of gasol e ~~~~~aches 1500 gallons, and buy directly from <br />A ' <br />stations. <br /> <br />Johansen was requested to handle the applications for gasoline through <br />the proper channels.
