<br />... <br /> <br />Minutes of Regular Council Me,etlng <br />Page two <br /> <br />January 14, 1974 <br /> <br />Wingert reviewed the Planning CommissIon's recommendations that <br />Council approve the Preliminary Plat as presented, subject to the <br />approval of the Fire Chief, Public Works Committee and utilities <br />companies; changing Benton Road to Harriet Avenue. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mr. Boerhave said that they can accomplish the turn-around requested <br />by Mr. lund, and explained the reason for this type of platting, <br />a. opposed to an R. L. S. Is because this Is registered or torrens <br />title, against abstract title, and platting of the entire property <br />Is required by Ramsey County. He explained that Block I will be <br />platted at this time, and submitted a drawing of Block I In proposed <br />final plat form, explaining Its location on the Preliminary Plat <br />presented. He further explained that the other outlots will be <br />platted at later dates (possibly 4 or 5 additional plats will be <br />submItted). <br /> <br />After assurance from Attorney Lynden that this Is the appropriate <br />procedure, and assurance from Engineer Lund that the Preliminary <br />Plat Is In general conformance with the approved Preliminary Plan, <br />Wingert moved, seconded by Feyerelsen, that the Council approve the <br />Preliminary Plat of the entire Hunters' Park In general and Block I, <br />In particular, subject to: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Submission of Registered Property Report or Abstract <br />to Attorney Lynden, and hIs favorable title opinion show- <br />Ing sufficient ownership Interest In Dreyfus. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Submission of data required by Section 13(B) 3 b. Iv of <br />Ordinance No. 98, on a separate document. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Redeslgnatlon of east-west street from Benton Road to <br />Harriet Avenue, as required by Sec. 6(C) I. of Ordinance <br />No. 98. <br />;~' <br /> <br />Attorney's prepar~~ment agreement embracing <br />Improvements to be constructed and Installed In connection <br />with Block I, and developersC,submlsslon of necessary per- <br />formance bonds as required by such development. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />Receipt by the Village of favorable reports from the Public <br />Works Committee, Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department <br />and uti Ilty companies. <br /> <br />Motion carried (Feyerelsen, Wingert and Olmen In favor of motion; <br />Crichton abstaining). <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Dreyfus Sewer Connection <br />Two possible sewer connection locations for the Dreyfus Develop- <br />ment were discussed, and Engineer Lund advised that, from an <br />engineering standpoint, either would be acceptable. <br /> <br />in view of Engineer Lund's approval of either connection location, <br />the Counci I suggested that Dreyfus proceed with easement nego- <br />tiations; it Is up to Dreyfus to o~taln the desIred easement. <br /> <br />McDonald and Associates - Payment Request <br />Engineer Lund reported that he had received a call from Bob <br />McDonald and requested that an explanation of the Council's <br />action re this request, taken on December 27, 1973, be given <br />to Mr. McDonald. <br /> <br />to. <br /> <br />Clerk Administrator McNlesh was requested to write to Mr. McDonald <br />re this matter. <br /> <br />Petition from Ramsey County Board - Re Transfer of Certain <br />Drainage Ditches to Rice Creek Watershed District <br />Engineer Lund referred the Council to his letter of January 14, <br />1974, and said It aPM,a.r:,s sQ,]: t~hj: t~}J.Ltr~MArv,,~qJ;IA1.Il,~ Jly.'J;lJ.ab!e.M.A____ <br />in that it would frel~ ~~~~~~-- <br />having to request County permission. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
