Inc. <br /> to Star LIQuors. Inc. <br /> Crichton moved, seconded by Hanson, that Councl I approve the <br />. corporate name change from Village Liquors North, Inc. to Star <br /> Liquors, Inc. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Minnesota Baotist Conference Donation <br /> McNlesh reported receipt of a donation of $200.00 from Minnesota <br /> Baptist Conference which was given to Arden Hills, not In lieu of <br /> taxes. <br /> Community Service Club Donation <br /> McNlesh reported receipt of $150.00 from the Arden Hills Community <br /> Service Club for site Improvement at Floral Pa rk. <br /> Mayor Crepeau thanked Minnesota Baptist Conference and the Community <br /> Service Club for their gracious gifts, on behalf of the Council; <br /> requested that McNlesh extend the Council's appreciation to the <br /> donors, and request that Town Crier publish the City's receipt of <br /> the donations. Council requested Parks Director Buckley to specify <br /> how the Floral Park donation Is to be spent. <br /> Temporary SIQn Permit - St. Paul Book and Stationery , <br /> WOodburn moved, seconded by Wingert, that Council rat I fy the 10/14/77 <br /> telephone poll approval of the Temporary Sign Permit for St. Paul <br /> Book and Stationery. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Temoorary Employee - Parks Department <br /> Crichton reported that the Parks Department has budgeted for two <br /> fu1 I-time employees; moved that, In lieu of the second permanent <br /> employee, Council approve the hiring of Jeff Stedman as a temporary <br /> employee at $4.00/hr., effective October 24, 1977. Motion was <br /> seconded by Woodburn and carried unanimously. <br /> Use of Ant I Recession Funds <br /> Council was referred to memo from McNlesh re suggested use of Anti <br /> Recession Funds. <br /> After discussion, Hanson moved, seconded by Wingert, that Council <br /> apply the Anti Recession FUnds toward the salary of Officer Goerltz. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Councl I concurred that Antirecession Fund Report re Council <br /> decisions between 4/1 - 9/30/77 Indicate a decrease In tax rate. <br />. Apportionment of Assessments. Reln/EdQewater South and Helahts of <br /> Johanna Lake - Resolutions 77-66 and 77-67. <br /> Woodburn moved, seconded by Wingert, that Councl I adopt Resolution <br /> No. 77-66, RESOLUTiON RELATING TO APPORTIONMENT OF ASSESSMENTS <br /> RELATUNG TO WATER IMPROVEMENT NO. 68-1 and Resolution No. 77-67, <br /> RESOLUTION RELATING TO APPORTIONMENT OF ASSESSMENTS RELATING TO <br /> SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO.2. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> November and December Council Meetlnas <br /> Crichton moved, seconded by Hanson, that Counc II Meetings be <br /> scheduled on November 14th and 28th and December 12th and 27th at <br /> 7:30 p.m. at the Village Hall. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Payroll <br /> Wingert moved, seconded by Hanson, that Councl I approve the Payroll <br /> as submitted. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> -4- <br />
