<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Minutes of Regular COllnci I Meeting <br />Page four <br /> <br />September 26, 1977 <br /> <br />Crichton stated that he felt an Arden Hills pollee force consisting <br />of 6 men and a Chief would result In more coverage than Ramsey <br />County Sheriff coverage. <br /> <br />Motion carried (Hanson, Woodburn, Crepeau voting In favor of the <br />motion; Crichton voting In opposition). <br /> <br />Hanson moved, seconded by Crichton, that Council accept the <br />Finance Committee recommendations not In conflict with changes <br />already approved. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 77-57. <br />Year 1977. payable In <br />McNlesh was requested <br />changes and not using <br />consideration of 1978 <br />which Hanson moved to <br />at the Village Hall. <br />unanimous Iy. <br /> <br />ApprovlnQ_Sums of Money to be Levied for Levy <br />J978 <br />~repare calculations Incorporating above <br />any General Fund Reserves, for Council's <br />Budget, as amended, at a Special Meeting <br />be held on Friday, September 30th at 5:30 p.m. <br />Motion was seconded by Crichton and carried <br /> <br />Resolution Nos. 77-58, 77-59 and 77-60 <br />Crichton moved, seconded by Hanson, that Council adopt Resolution <br />No. 77-58, Certifying Delinquent Utility Accounts For Collection <br />With 1978 Taxes, Resolution No. 77-59, Certifying Special Assessment <br />Installments For Diseased Tree Remova! For Collection With 1978 Taxes, <br />and Resolution No. 77-60, CertIfyIng Special Assessment Installment <br />For Water Connections For Col/ectlon With /978 Taxes. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />(It Is Council's understanding that names will be deleted from lists, <br />If paid prior to deadline.) <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE CLERK ADMINiSTRATOR CHARLOTTE MCNIESH <br /> <br />PaTrol I <br />Cr chton moved to approve the revised September payroll as pre- <br />sented. Motion was seconded by Woodburn and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Request for Payment No. I, Robert Moore - improvement No. 77-2 <br />McNlesh reported that construction Is complete except for road; <br />there Is a 10% retalnage; Engineer Christoffersen recommends <br />payment at this time. <br /> <br />Crlehton moved, seconded by Hanson, that Council authorize pay- <br />ment In the amount of $42,874.02 to Robert Moore, representing <br />Payment No. I, Improvement No. 77-2. Motion car'ded unanimously. <br /> <br />GuardIan Life - Sexton Weeklv Loss of Time Benefits <br />Counell concurred to refer matter to Attorney Lynden to review <br />contract and letters receIved; to advise Counell of City's position. <br /> <br />Amendment to AQreement with Wehrman Chapman Associates re Planning <br />Consultant Fees <br />McNlesh referred Council to letter of September 13, 1977, from <br />Wehrman Chapman Assoelates, inc., and attached Fee Schedule. <br /> <br />Crichton moved, seconded by Hanson, that Council approve the <br />revIsed Fee Sehedule as proposed. Motion earrled unanimously. <br /> <br />Ban Con Request re SpecIal Assessments <br />McNlesh referred Council to letter from Ban Con Inc. (9/16/77) re <br />alternatives proposed to Insure City of colleetlon of full assess- <br />ments on lots sold In Chatham First Addition prior to adoption of <br />assessment rol I for the Chatham improvements. <br /> <br />Council eoneurred that the request should be evaluated by the City <br />Engineer and FIscal Consultant. Woodburn moved to refer matter <br />to Christoffersen and Popovich for their recommendations to Counell. <br />MotIon was seconded by Hanson and carrIed unanimOUSly. <br /> <br />-4- <br />
