<br />;,. <br /> <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />Page four <br /> <br />August 29, 1977 <br /> <br />OTHER B.US!NESS <br /> <br />Request tor Temporary Office Bulldln~ - Sentinel Electronic~ <br />Mr. Charles Klapperich, Sentinel Electronics Corp., 1306 West <br />County Road F, presented a sketch of the proposed location of a <br />10' x 46' temporary office facility In the parking lot area at <br />1306 West County Road F, which ha said would occupy about three <br />parking spaces. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Councl I reviewed the site plan of the property and expressed concern <br />that the existing parking area Is Inadequate; additional personnel, <br />occupying the temporary office, would add to the parking ~roblem, <br />In addltlo~ to the ~mp~rlJ.r~. tructure reducing the e xl s.tln par.k- . <br />In area.. ~ ,~~ <br />.. e:v ~~ ~ <br />After dl ussion, 6rlcht ~ moved, seconded by Wingert, that Council <br />not approve the temporary office facility location. Motion carrIed <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Application for Rubbish Hauler licenSe - Craig TroJe <br />Wingert moved, seconded by Woodburn, that Council approve the <br />Rubbish Hauler License for Craig TroJe for the remainder of 1977; <br />subject to approval of the City HeaDth Officer and subject to receipt <br />of the required Insurance certificate. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Park Dedication - BueslnQ Property <br />Mr. Rexelsen presented a Preliminary Plat of Arden Lake Knoll which <br />Indicates Outlat A to be deeded to the City. Rexelsen said Outlot A <br />represents the park dedication for the Buesing property spilt for <br />parcels I and 2 adjacent to Hamllne Avenue <<parcel 3 Is to be consoli- <br />dated with property to the north, and when developed will be Included <br />In the park dedication for that combined parcell. <br /> <br />After discussion, Wingert moved that Council accept Outlot A In satis- <br />faction of the Buesing property park dedication for parcels I and 2 <br />(not Including parcel 3); Outlot A to provide a 20' wide strip of <br />welkable land for access from Hamllne Avenue to the 50' wide pathway <br />to the east as Indicated on the Preliminary Plat of Arden lake Knoll <br />as prQPosed, dated August 1977, by Charles O. Georgi Company; subject <br />to a signed agreement from the owner of the property. Motion was <br />seconded by Hanson and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Re uest for Time Extension - Hunters Park Landsca e Bond <br />Wingert moved, seconded by Woodburn, tha Council approve an extension <br />until December 31, 1977, for the completion of the Hunters Park <br />landscaping. Motion carried unanlmous~y. <br /> <br />FIre ProtectIon Service A~reement <br />After review of the FIre Protection Service Agreement, as amended, <br />CrIchton moved that Council generally agrees with the contract <br />provisions, with modifications of Sections 15 and 19E. Motion was <br />seconded by Hanson and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Park DedicatIon - Status Report <br />A. Janet Estates - WIngert revIewed negotIations and reported <br />that an agreement has not been reached to date. <br />B. Karth Lake Estates - Crichton reported that he has received <br />another appraisal (provided by the developer), which indicates <br />an average acreage value of $4000; negotiations have not <br />been completed to date. <br /> <br />Approval of Fall Pro~ram <br />Council was referred to memo from Buckley dated 8-24-77. <br /> <br />Aft&r dIscussion, Crichton moved, seconded by Hanson, that Councl I <br />approve the Fall Program as outlIned in Buckley's memo, with the <br />exception of the Senior CitIzen Club. Motion carried (Crichton, <br />Hanson, Woodburn, Wingert voting In favor of the motion; Crepeau <br />abstaining). <br /> <br />Report on DIseased Tree ProQram Optlo~ <br />Deferred to Council Meeting of September 12th. <br /> <br />-4 ~o <br />
