<br />Minutes of Regular Council Meeting <br />Page seven <br /> <br />July I I, 1977 <br /> <br />OTHER BUSiNESS <br /> <br />Pollee Review Board <br />Crichton reported that about 30 applications for Police Chief were <br />sent out; 18 have been returned and reviewed; 13 have been InvIted <br />to take the written test which will be given on Saturday, July 16th <br />at 1:00 p.m. and on Thursday evening, July 21st at 8:00 p.m. at the <br />VIllage Hall; oral review by the Review Board, and a psychological <br />test will then be scheduled. <br /> <br />Park DedIcatIon NeQotlatlons <br />Crichton and Wingert reported that no negotiations have been made <br />re pending park dedications to date. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Metropolitan Systems Statement <br />WIngert reported that the Systems Statement has been received; re- <br />visions can be made; have 60 days to reply. <br /> <br />Wingert said he wIll review the Statement with the Planning Commis- <br />sion for Its recommendations to Council. <br /> <br />(Hanson left the meetIng at 12:35 a.m.) <br /> <br />Approval of Additional Tennis Instructors <br />Councl I was referred to memo from Buckley (7-8-77) re need for <br />additional tennis Instructors. <br /> <br />Crichton moved, seconded by Woodburn, that Counci I approve the <br />hIring of the following tennIs Instructors at the rates noted In <br />Buckley's memo: <br /> <br />Joan Fergus <br />Chuck Bufton <br />Ed Oavles <br />Heidi Pereson <br /> <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Approval of Site Improvement at Floral Park <br />Council was referred to memo from Buckley re Site Improvement of <br />Floral Park which Is programed for development In 1977. CrIchton <br />noted that the proposed site development, outlined In Buckley's <br />memo, Is in accord wIth items as budgeted and In accord with Floral <br />Park plans. CouncIl, therefore, concurred with site improvement <br />as outlined. <br /> <br />Proposed ChanQe to Comprehensive Park Plan <br />Deferred to Council Meeting of July 25th. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE CLERK ADMiNISTRATOR CHARLOTTE MCNIESH <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 77-36. Reauestlna and Authorizing Metro Councl I HRA <br />to Apply for Grant Funds re Home Improvement Grant ProQrams In <br />Arden HIlls <br />CrIchton moved, seconded by Wingert, to reconsider Council's <br />previous motion of June 27th which did not carry (one vote In favor <br />of adoption of the resolution; one vote In opposition; one abstention). <br />Motion carried unanImously. <br /> <br />After discussion, Wingert moved that CouncIl approve Resolution <br />No. 77-36 and authorize Its execution by the Mayor and Clerk Adminis- <br />trator on behalf of the City of A~den Hills. Motion was seconded by <br />Crichton and carried (Wingert, Crichton, Crepeau votIng In favor of <br />the motion; Woodburn abstaining). <br /> <br />Claims and Payrol Is <br />WIngert moved, seconded by Woodburn, that Council approve the Claims <br />and two Payrolls, Including the supplementary disbursements, as <br />submitted.
