<br />Minutes of Regular Council Meeting <br />Page seven <br /> <br />Council was referred to a letter from Buesing which Indicates that <br />Buesing Is the underlying property owner of the entire Highway 51 <br />easement adjacent to hIs property (Llv-A-Snaps do not have a deed to <br />include the east half of the right-of-way). <br /> <br />June 27, 1977 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Woodburn moved that Council approve the spl It of the Buesing property <br />as per Map "Z", Into four (4) parcels; parcel No.4 to be dedicated <br />to the City of Arder Hi lis in partial fulfillment.of the park dedI- <br />cation requirement (recognizing that further park land will be re- <br />quired to fulfill belance of park dedication); no development of <br />parcels No. I and Ne.. 3 to be permitted until balance of park dedica- <br />tion Is satisfactorily resolved; parcel No.3 to be consolidated with <br />the adjacent property to the north. Motion was seconded by Wingert <br />and carried unanimously. (Hanson had left meeting before vote was <br />taken) <br /> <br />(Lynden to draft agreement re the spilt and park dedication to be <br />signed by Buesing). <br /> <br />Shade Tree Grant ProQram <br />Buckley referred Council to his memo of 6/24/77 re Minnesota Shade <br />Tre~ Grant; noted that grant application must be received by State <br />Office by July I, 1977 If City Intends to participate this year. <br /> <br />After discussion, Crichton moved, seconded by Wingert, that Council <br />apply for the Shade Tree Grant for the City diseased tree program In <br />the amount budgeted In 1977 plus cost of removing trees on public <br />property. Motion carried. Crichton and Woodburn voted In favor of <br />motion, Wingert abstained. <br /> <br />Woodburn moved that CIty not participate In the $40.00/tree reforestation <br />program. Wingert seconded the motion. Motion did not carry, Woodburn <br />voting In favor) Crichton and Wingert voting In opposition. <br /> <br />Woodburn moved that City include planned planting of trees, up to <br />appropriate limits; .econded by Wingert. Motion carried (Wingert <br />and Crichton voting In favor of the motion) Woodburn voting In opposition. <br /> <br />Council directed Buckley to prepare a plan for sharing costs of <br />diseased tree removal for the 1978 Budget for Council's consideration; <br />suggested that 2 or 3 alternate proposals be submitted. <br /> <br />Health Insurance <br />Crichton moved, seconded by Wingert, that Councl I authorize that <br />normal Health Insurance dependent coverage be re-Instated for John <br />Buckley, to be effective at the earliest appropriate date. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Hunters Park Path~!AY. <br />Council discussed the proposed sale of the Hunters Park Pathway property <br />to 10 adJaCent property owners as per drawing, and attached letter <br />dated 6/17/77 iron Robert A. Curtis, Homeowner's Representative, <br />Hunte rs Park. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />After discussion, Council referred the proposed sale to Attorney Lynden <br />to determine the best way to accomplish the consolidation of the <br />portions of the ~athway property wIth the lots as Indicated In the <br />draw I ng. <br /> <br />McNlesh was reqllested to obtain the cost of the property at time <br />Dreyfus purchased the site. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case No. 77-22.
