<br />Minutes of Regular Councl I Meeting. <br />Pa ge s I x <br /> <br />June 27, 1977 <br /> <br />(Christoffersen noted that Outlot A is important for drainage purposes. <br />WIngert agreed to negotiate the park dedication with the developer). <br /> <br />Resol utlon 77-29 re Improvement 75-1 (County Road F) <br />Engineer Christoffersen reviewed the project costs of the County Road <br />F Improvement Project, total cost of which Is $193,860.00. <br /> <br />In discussion re assessment for the project, Christoffersen noted <br />that: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />I: The storm sewer costs ($58,300) Is expected to be shared by <br />Shorevlew In the amount of $11,000. <br />2. Sanitary sewer ($2,800) Is for construction of 4 services. <br />3. Water ($2,700) is for construction of water pipe under the road; <br />of no benefit to property owners at present. <br />4. Street ($130,000) - solely surrounded by Industrial property. <br /> <br />After discussion, Counci I requested Christoffersen to prepare several <br />assessment approaches for Counci l'S consideration at the July 11th <br />meeting. Christoffersen to work with Woodburn on alternate approaches. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 77-30 re Little Crow Improvement Decl8rin~ Cost and <br />OrderlnQ Preparation of Assessment Roll. <br />Christoffersen noted that the job has not been finalized; estimated <br />cost of the Improvement is $22,512.00 which Is the amount proposed to <br />be assessed. <br /> <br />McNlesh noted that assessment amount can, according to Popovich's <br />office, be adjusted between adoption of the Resolution Declaring Cost, <br />and the publication of Notice of the Assessment Hearing, which states <br />the cost of the Improvement; also, Resolution can be amended. <br /> <br />After discussion, Hanson moved, seconded by Wingert, that Counci I adopt <br />Resolution No. 77-30, RESOLUTION RELATING TO LITTLE CROW ADDITION <br />IMPROVEMENT DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF <br />PROPOSED ASSESSMENT, at $22,512.00. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 77-31, Approving Plans and Specifications and Ordering <br />Advertisement for BIds for Improvement No. 77-2 (Edgewater South and <br />HelQhts of Johanna Lake). <br />Developers Marlyn Tramm and Barry O'Meara stated they are satisfied <br />wlth the Plans and Specifications for the two developments. <br /> <br />Woodburn moved, seconded by Wingert, that Council adopt Resolution <br />No~ 77-31, RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING <br />ADVERTISEMENT fOR BIDS ON IMPROVEMENT SS-W-P-77-2. Houle - County Road F Improvement <br />Deferred to July 11th Councl I Meeting. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />REPORT OF PARKS DIRECTOR JOHN BUCKLEY <br /> <br />Approval of Tree Inspector Stephen Flackey <br />Wingert moved, seconded by Hanson, that Council approve the hi ring of <br />Stephen Flackey as Tree Inspector at $4.75/hour, effective June 17, <br />1977. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Park Dedication Recommendations - Buesing Property <br />Buckley reported that the Parks and Recreation Committee discussed <br />park dedication for the Buesing property with realtor Clarence Rexelsen <br />at Its June meeting. Committee does not recommend City purchase of <br />Lot F as proposed by Rexelsen for access to the Highway easement from <br />Hamllne area. <br /> <br />Crichton Indicated the Committee's recommendation cross~h8tched on a <br />sketch of the Buesing property; noting that a 25' wide pathway Is <br />desired from Hamllne Avenue, at the 970 elevation, to the Highway <br />Easement area to the east; (Councilman Hanson left the meeting at <br />about 11:00 p.m.); at least 25' to 50' wide pathway desired within <br />the Highway Easement area.
