After a brief discussion re the recommend d Comprehensive <br />Park Plan revision and the recommended park site for Johanna Eas~A1~ <br />neighborhood, Buckley was requested to submit a map showing the ~ <br />proposed, for Council's consideration. <br /> <br />Bike T ra II s <br />Buckley reported that two League of Women Voter representatives met <br />with the Parks Committee re bike tral Is In Arden HltJ~mmittee <br />has deferred Its recommendations to Council until . . meeting. <br />Buckley referred Council to Minutes of Regular Council Meeting of <br />3/29/76 re action taken last year. <br /> <br />After discussion, Crichton moved that Council authorize Buckley to <br />request Ramsey County to re-stripe and to re-stencil Johanna Boulevard, <br />on both sides, from Old Hwy UO (Snelling Avenuel to County Road 0, Old <br />Highway 10 (Snelling Avenue) from County Road E to County Road F and <br />County Road E2 from Old Highway 10 (Snelling Avenue) to the library; <br />widening shoulders and/or blacktopping where necessary. Motion was <br />seconded by Hanson and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />REPORT OF CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE MCNIESH <br /> <br />Permit for Roadside Stand - Flicek <br />Council was referred to memo from McNiesh (2/24/77) re request for <br />"casual roadside stand" at southwest corner of County Road F and Lex- <br />ington Avenue. <br /> <br />in discussion, Council expressed concern that a truck parked, as pro- <br />posed, would be a traffic haZard; request does not conform to the <br />provisions for issuance of a permit as established by Resolution No. <br />76-7. <br /> <br />Hanson moved that the request be denied. Motion was seconded by Crichton <br />and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Statement of Assurances - Federal Revenue Sharing <br />After review of Statement of Assurances - Federal Revenue Sharing, Counci I <br />concurred that "waiver" indicating financial statements are audited by <br />Independent C.P.A. be checked and authorized Its execution by Mayor <br />Crepeau. <br /> <br />Bethel ColleQe Student Association <br />Council reviewed memo from McNiesh (2/24/77) and discussed the four <br />suggested possibilities for use of the student association's $4,OO~ <br />proposed for some VI I lage improvement which would Involve student parti- <br />cipation. <br /> <br />Council concurred that the top-dressing and seeding of soccer and soft- <br />ba~1 fields at Perry Park and/or replacement of shade trees at Perry Park <br />would be considered very appropriate; suggested that a plaque be subse- <br />quently posted at Bethel, describing the Improvement made by the student <br />association. <br /> <br />-3- <br />
