<br />. . <br /> <br />Minutes of Regular Council Meeting <br />Page five <br /> <br />February 14, 1977 <br /> <br />Federal Revenue Sharlnq Actual Use Report No.7 <br />Crichton moved, seconded by Hanson, that Council approve the Federal <br />Revenue Sharing Actuat Use Report No.7 as submitted. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Standby Electric Generating Unit - Bid Award <br />Counci I was referred to memo from Johansen (2/11/77) re used stand- <br />by electric generating unit. <br /> <br />After discussion, Woodburn moved, seconded by Wingert, that Council <br />award the bid to Jeffeo Power Systems in the amount of $19,595.00. <br />Motion carried unanimousty. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Approval of Licenses <br />McNiesh referred Council to I ist of 1977 renewal licenses. <br /> <br />Woodburn moved, seconded by Wingert, that Council approve the licenses <br />No. I through No. ~8, as ~Isted, and ,"9 and #20. subject to approval <br />of Health Inspector' Ausffiell, tnd waive license fee for pop vending <br />machine at the Village HaiO. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Park Maintenance Employee ~ Layoff <br />Council was referred to memo from Buckley (2/fil/77) re temporary <br />layoff effective March B. <br /> <br />After discussion, Crichton moved, seconded by Wingert, that Councl I <br />authorize Buckley to continue the employment of Mark Paterson If use- <br />ful work can be provided. Motion carried unanimous~y. <br /> <br />(Buckley, Johansen, McNiesh to collaborate re work assignments.) <br /> <br />Claims and Payroll <br />Crichton moved, seconded by Wingert, that Counci I approve the Claims <br />and Payrol! as submitted. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 77-9 <br />Wingert moved, seconded by Hanson, that Caunci I adopt Resolution <br />No. 77-9, RECONVEYANCE OF TAX FORFE!TED LAND TO THE STATE OF MINNESOTA. <br />MotiGn carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Suburban Rate Authority <br />McNiesh reported that Arden Hilts' notice of withdrawal from the Sub- <br />urban Rate Authority was received too late, according to the SRA Joint <br />Agreement; therefore, fee of $~50 for ~977 wi II havs to be paid. <br /> <br />PrOPosed ResoVutfon Re Minnesota C~ean indoor Air Act <br />McNiesh referred Counci I to ~ett9r 12/3/771 and attached recommended <br />resolution from Joseph Talcott. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />After discussion, Wingert moved, seconded by Hanson, that Village <br />cOfumlttee meetings be held in the Village Ha~ I Council Chambers, when- <br />ever possible, which is al'ready zoned for "smoking" and "no smoking". <br />Motion carried unanimous!y. <br /> <br />P!annlnQ Seminar <br />Wingert moved, seconded by Hanson, that Council approve Gary Thorn's <br />attendance at a planning seminar; authorized VI Hiage payment of the <br />$20.00 fee for costs of the workshop. Notion carried unanimOUSly. <br /> <br />Special Council Meeting <br />A Special Council Meeting was scheduled on Thursday, February 24, 1977 <br />at 7:30 p.m. at the 1/1 V lage Ha!
