Woodburn suggested that the definition <br />be retained and that the chart be amended to conform to the <br />definition. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Councl I concurred with the following amendments to the-B-I District <br />of the Land Use Chart (in addition to those uses already listed): <br />B-1 <br /> <br />Commercial Recreation <br />Mortuaries <br />Me d I ca I C II nics S <br />Personal Services <br />Research, Animals <br />Restaurants <br />Retai I Sa les <br />Service Stations ~ <br />Veterinary Clinic & Offices - <br /> <br />Lynden and Fredlund were requested to prepare ordinance amendments <br />to eliminate apparent ambiguities and confusion re P.U.Ds, Land Use <br />Chart list, uses which are defined but apparently not permitted <br />etc. for Council's consl deration at next Council meeting. <br /> <br />Woodburn noted that the intent of the proposed ordinance is to not <br />requlra a PUD If the development meets the general zoning density, <br />e.g. townhouses to be permitted without a PUD If density meets <br />requirements of the district in which they are proposed (R-3 or R-4). <br /> <br />Gara!:!e. Truck <br />After review of definition (p. 55) Counci I concurred that "Garage, <br />truck" be added to the Land Use Chart in I~I and 1-2 Districts, <br />requiring a Special Use Permit. <br /> <br />Day Care Home. Day Care Center. Lodqln!:! House <br />Council concurred that "Day Care HOme" be added to list of uses <br />(Land Use Chart) In R-I through R-4 districts, requiring a Special <br />Use Permit. Counci I concurred that "Day Care Center and Lodging <br />House be defined but not included as "permitted uses" on the Land <br />Use Chart at this time. (Lynden to advise re State requirements.) <br /> <br />Zonln!:! Map - Readjustment of District Boundary Lines <br />Council noted several adjustments to District Boundary lines to be <br />made on the Proposed amended Zoning Map to correct inaccuracies: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />a) Northerly east/west line of R-2 in southeast corner of map <br />should be the same as on the existing zoning map. <br />b) 8-2/1-2 line (between Lexington and Highway 51, north of <br />County Road E) should be the same as on the existing zoning <br />map which sepQrates G-B from L-I. <br />c) 8-2 boundary at llndey's corner should be the same as the <br />G-B boundary on the existing zoning map. <br /> <br />Driveway Widths (P. 3-13) <br />Minimum one-way driveway width was changed to 10'. <br />"flare" Is not included in the width measurement. <br /> <br />It was noted that <br /> <br />Minnesota Department of Transportation - Letter Re Traffic Noise <br />Council rflferred ietter (1/19/77) and attached map, Indicating <br />potential and existing problem areas, to Planner Fredlund for his <br />suggestions as to how the traffic noise situation can be improved; <br />possibly the establishment of set-back lines etc. In residential <br />districts bo,ardering major roads. <br /> <br />Definitions <br />Hanson moved, seconded by Crepeau, that definitions till I and '112 <br />(p. 1-14) be amended as follows: <br /> <br />-3- <br />
