Use Pel-mit for PUD ~ Cardiac Pacemakers, Inc. <br />Bob Burow and Mark Stovens presented detal led drawings of the proposed <br />physiological I-esearch building (plans dated 1-17-77> and reviewed <br />the Performance Specifications Fact Sheet ldated 1-17-771 for the <br />two buildings in proposed Phase 1) of construction. <br /> <br />Burow described the physiological research building as being 68' <br />wide by 170' long; the \lest por'tlon is for oHices and labs, and <br />68st portion to house research animals; animal exercise area is <br />between the two building soctions and is open to the sky with gate <br />)'0 the sou,'h. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />In review of the site plan, Counci! expressed concern re the proposed <br />location of the 68' wide building only 20 fest from the Fernwood <br />A'fen ue p rope lory ~ i ne . <br /> <br />After discussion re topography, 50i I tests and probable alternate <br />bui Iding confi~urations, Stevens agreed that building can be relocated <br />to provide B greBter set-back from Fernwood Avenue. <br /> <br />Crichton moved, seconded by Hanson, that Counci I approve issuance of <br />a Special Use Permit for the Planned Unit Development, approving <br />issuance of bui Iding permits for Phase I I construction (Bldgs. 02 <br />and P.3) as per plans submitted and dated received 12/27/76 and !/17/77; <br />subject to the fol lowing: <br /> <br />I.
