Charlotte McNiesh, Deputy Clerk Dorothy Zehm. <br /> BUSINESS FROM THE FLOOR <br /> None. <br /> REPORT OF PUBLIC WORKS SUPERVlSOR HANS JOHANSEN <br /> (absent) <br /> REPORT OF BU1LOING'tNSPECTOR LARRY SQUIRES <br /> Squires referred Council to his memo of 11/26/76 re Up-date on <br /> Current Construction, reporting the following: <br /> I. Cardiac Pacemakers, Inc. - "go ahead" has been given to <br /> proceed with grading for roadways, parking areas and <br /> proposed new structures, subject to approval of Vi'lage <br /> . Engineer. <br /> In discussion of Building Permit requirements for drive- <br /> ways, parking lots, etc, , it was noted that presently <br /> Building Permits are required for driveways and sidewalks, <br /> but not for private access roads or parking lots. Zehm <br /> was requested to advise Councl I of new ordinance provisions <br /> re access roads, driveways, parking lots etc, and to check <br /> with Planner re access road permit recommendations. <br /> 2. McKnight Geriatric Care Center - 58 parking stat Is~ formerly <br /> proposed within the structure, have been eliminated; reduc - <br /> Ing Over-at' number of parking spaces by 28 (excluding 15 <br /> spaces for unit housing In phase 2 of constructlonJ, <br /> After discussion, Squires was requested to relay Council's <br /> concern re reduced number of parking spaces to Presbyterian <br /> Homes and to request that a modified parking plan be sub- <br /> mitted for Council approva I . <br /> 3, Arden Manor - recreatIon/office bui Iding Is essentially <br /> complete; laundry facll itles will be Instal led as park Is <br /> occupied, <br /> 4. Coun ty Road F Stockpiling of FI i I Material - Squires reported <br /> that f I II removal has not been started as of this date, . <br /> . McNlesh Was requested to determine If a bond <br /> was submitted to Rice Creek Watershed District. <br /> 5, Tennis Court Lights - Rldgewood Road <br /> Squires reported that ! I ghts do not exude an unreasonable <br /> amount of illumination; were used only about eight times <br /> last season; lights are metered; lights are visible from <br /> surrounding properties, but not the bulbs themselves (covered <br /> by reflectors) .
