Crepeau, Jr. <br /> Ro II Call <br /> Present - Mayor Henry J. Crepeau, Jr. , Councilmen Charles Crichton, <br /> Ward Hanson, James Wingert, Robert Woodburn. <br /> Absent - None. <br /> Also Present - Attorney James Lynden, Engineer Donald Christoffersen, <br /> Treasurer Donald Lamb, Park Director John Buckley, Clerk <br /> Administrator Charlotte McNlesh. <br /> . Approval of Minutes <br /> Wingert moved, seconded by Hanson, that the Minutes of the Regular <br /> Counc I I Meeting of November B, 1976 be approved as amended. Motion <br /> carried unanImously. <br /> BUSINESS FROM THE FLOOR <br /> 0 <br /> None. <br /> REPORT OF PARK DiRECTOR JOHN BUCKLEY <br /> Conference <br /> Crichton moved, seconded by Wingert, that Council approve Buckley's <br /> attending the Minnesota Recreation and Park Association Fall Con- <br /> ference, December I, 2 and 3, as detailed In memo of 11/17/76. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> . Basketball Instructors <br /> Crichton moved, seconded by Wingert, that Counc II approve hiring <br /> instructors for Youth Jr. Mustang Program 8S listed on memo of <br /> 11/10/76. Motion carried unanimouSly. <br /> Buckley reported that rates are the same as last year; boys and <br /> girls participate In program. <br /> Winter Recreation Program <br /> -B-uck ley reviewed his memo of 11/17/76 re Recreation Program data, <br /> noting that substantial number of Arden HII Is residents participate <br /> In programs offered by neighboring municipalities. <br /> The proposed winter programs to be sponsored by Arden HIlls are <br /> s I m II ar to last year except that volleyball leagues and open gym <br /> have been added. Buckley advised that Mary Jane Olson is handling <br /> girls' gymnastic programs; fees, Instructors sal.rles, etc. wll I <br /> be her responsibility. Village will advertise gymnastic program <br /> In flyer as well as four skating and skiing programs, but will not <br /> be sponsoring these. Fees for the programs sponsored by the Village <br /> will cover direct costs, cost of maintaining Ice rinks will be <br /> financed by Village. <br /> Woodburn moved, seconded by Wingert, that Counc II approve the Winter <br /> Program as detal led In Buckley's memo of 11/17/ 76. Motion carried <br /> . unanimously. <br /> 1977 Budget <br /> Committee has approved budget changes which will reduce Park budget <br /> by about $3,920. <br /> ~unters Park Pathway <br /> Crichton reported that construction of pathway has been deferred; <br /> pathway dedication Involves .5539 acres of land. Counc I I directed <br /> McNlesh to write Homeowners Association Inviting them to enter Into <br /> discussions with the Village re their purchase of pathway land If It <br /> Is not used by the Village as a pedestrian way. <br /> REPORT OF ViLLAGE ATTORNEY JAMES LYNOEN <br /> Bussard Court Drainage <br /> Lynden reviewed his letter of 11/22/76.
