Crepeau, Jr. <br /> Roll Ca" <br /> Present - Mayor Henry J. Crepeau, Jr.. , Councilmen Robert Woodburn, <br /> Charles Crichton, James Wingert. <br /> Absent - None. <br /> Also Present - Ward M. Hanson, Treasurer Donald lamb, Attorney <br /> . James Lynden, Police Chief Pat Sexton, Clerk Adminis- <br /> trator Charlotte McNlesh, Deputy Clerk Dorothy Zehm. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> Wingert moved, seconded by Crichton, that the Minutes of the <br /> Regular Council Meeting of October 25, 1976, be approved as <br /> submItted, and Minutes of Special Counc II Meeting of November 4, <br /> 1976, be approved as amended. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Oath of Office <br /> Mayor Crepeau administered the Oath of Office of Councilman to <br /> Ward M. Hanson who was appointed to fill the Counc I I vacancy for <br /> the blllance of 1976. <br /> Business from the Floor <br /> None. <br /> REPORT OF POLICE CHIEF PAT SEXTON <br /> Minn. Teamsters Public and law Enforcement Employees Union, Local <br /> 320 <br /> Chief Sexton reported that tabulation of election on 11/8/76 <br /> resu I ted In the followIng: <br /> 4 In favor of Arden Hills Police Department rap resen- <br /> tatlon by local 320. I in opposition. <br /> Public Safety Committee Meeting <br /> Sexton referred Council to Minutes of the Public Safety Committee <br /> Meeting of 11-8-76. <br /> Dog Ordinance <br /> Sexton reported that New Brighton has experienced satisfac- <br /> tory dog control by patrol of City by Community Service <br /> Of f I ce rs about 40 hrs./week @ $3.50/hr; have purchased a <br /> van for patrol purposes. <br /> Sexton suggested that New Brighton may be Interested in also <br /> patrol! Ing Arden Hills (hopefully resolving City dog problem>, <br /> but both cities' ordinances would have ,to be alike for this <br /> to be operational. <br /> . Counc II requested that matter be referred to the Public <br /> Safety Committee for Its recommendations to the Council. <br /> Traffic Sign Survey <br /> Sexton reported that Public Safety Committee wi II report <br /> recommendations re traffic sign survey. <br /> REPORT OF ATTORNEY JAMES LYNOEN <br /> Arden Manor Park Easement <br /> Lynden referred Counc II to his letter of 11-8-76, suggesting that <br /> park easement can best be resolved at this time If the principal <br /> parties participating In the foreclosure action execute the ease- <br /> ment which he is re-draftlng. Lynden reported he has talked with <br /> the attorneys for each of the parties, except American National <br /> Bank, and none have voiced any objection to this approach; attor- <br /> ney for Adamses and Twin Parks, inc. wanted to check with the <br /> Adamses on TueSday. <br /> -1- <br /> - -------------- --- ----- <br />
