Committee to explore idea of surcharge for non- <br /> residents. <br /> Fringe Benefits - Mark Peterson <br /> Buckley referred Council to appointment of Mark Peterson th rough <br /> December 31, 1976, which results In a probable change of status <br /> from "temporary f u I I -t I me" to "regu I ar' ful I-time" entitling him <br />. to certain benefits. <br /> After discussion, Crichton moved, seconded by Woodburn, that Council <br /> approve Mark Peterson as a regular ful I-time employee for the <br /> balance of 1976. Motion carried unanimouSly. <br /> Hunters Park Pathway <br /> (See Hunters Park above) <br /> 1977 Budget and Tax Levy <br /> Finance Committee Chairman Ward Hanson referred Council to Finance <br /> Committee Minutes of September 23rd and attached Summary Comparison <br /> of Expenditures with Expenditures of Prior Years, noting that Park <br /> Fund (under Special Funds) recommendation of + $15,225 was omitted <br /> and sliould be Inserted. <br /> McNlesh noted that a 35% Increase In Insurance rates will raise <br /> budgeted amount for Insurance about $4,000; does not allow for <br /> increase In room benefit from $65 to $75/day. <br /> After discussion, Cr I chton moved, seconded by Crepeau that Council <br /> approve the General Fund Budget of $606,980, as recommended by the <br /> Finance Committee, with the following changes: <br /> 1 . I ncrease of $4,000 for Insurance rate change. <br /> 2. Increase of $1025 for room bene fit Increase from $65 to <br /> $75/day. <br /> 3. Increase Park and Recreation by $2500 and Administration <br /> by $2500. ( Note: Crichton, Buckley and McNlesh to work <br /> out details.) <br /> Wingert moved to amend motion to add $600 for radar oven, appor- <br /> tioning 1/6 to sewer ($'00), 1/6 to water ($100) , 2/3 to Genera I <br /> Fund ($400) . Crichton and Crepeau agreed to the omendment. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. (Th I s results In Total Genef'a I Fund Budget <br /> of $617~~ ~t was noted that Park budgets wlli have to be <br /> reduced to accommodate Counc! I adjustments re self-sustaining <br /> recreation programs. <br /> Crichton moved, seconded by Crepeau, that Counci I approve the $100 <br /> Increase to the S&war Utility Fund and Water Utility Fund. Crepeau moved, seconded by Woodburn, that Counc I I adopt Resolution <br /> No. 76-54, RESOLUTION APPROVING SUMS OF MONEY TO 8E LEV i ED FOR <br /> LEVY YEAR 1976, PAYABLE IN 1977, AND AMENDING THE LEVY ON 1972 IM- <br /> PROVEMENT BONDS, SERIES 2, AND 1960 AND 1961 SAN ITARY SEWER IM- <br /> PROVEMENT BONOS, SERiES 8, C, AND 0, ;nsertlng 5309,413 as Total <br /> Levy, All Funds. Mot i Oli ca rr I ed unanimously.
