In discussion it was noted that effectiveness <br />cannot be measured by revenue; costs can't be balanced with the <br />fines. Meyers noted that Arden Hi lis offi cers are responsive and <br />cooperative - no complaints; noted lawsuits against munlclPalitles~ <br />~~have increased - reser've officers would impute same liability as a <br />f ..- full-time officer, maybe more; sugg\19,ted that City aval i the <br />. "f~~~ <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE PARKS DIRECTOR JOHN BUCKLEY <br /> <br />Park Sites <br />Buckley referred Counci I to Minutes of Parks and Recreation <br />Committee Meeting of May I I, 1976, and attached letter from George <br />Berry, re sale of 4 iots for park purposes. Buckley reported th~....._/ <br />~~Park~~t e recomm~nds that these lots not be purchased..tT~ <br /> <br />D~'~~t Pla~s' f r Hazelnut and Floral Parks <br />Buckley reviewed the proposed plans for Hazelnut and Floral Parks <br />and reported that a concept plan for Cummings Park will be presented <br />to the Parks Committee at Its June meeting for its consideration. <br /> <br />After discussion, Counci I concurred that cooies of the Hazelnut <br />and Floral Park plans be sent out with the next issue of the <br />Town Crier, requesting input from residents. <br /> <br />Temporary ~art-time Park Employee - Jack Kramer <br />Woodburn moved, secondeo by Crichton, that Counci I approve the <br />hiring of Jack Kramer as a temporary part-time parks employee for <br />tree planting at $3.75/hour. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Ball Diamonds - Joint Powers AQreement <br />Counci I noted sE,ver'al discrepancies in draft of Joint Powers Agree- <br />ment executed by the School District.
