<br />. <br /> <br />Minutes of Regular Counci I Meeting <br />Page two <br /> <br />May 10, 1976 <br /> <br />In discussion re fee schedule, Council suggested fees should be <br />payable to the City and probably at a percentage of value, similar to <br />Sui lding Permit fees, also reinspection fees should be included. <br />Concern was expressed re Fire Marshal and VI I lage both issuing per- <br />mits. <br /> <br />After discussion, Council requested Nesler to check with Fire Marshal's <br />office re permits under Fire Marshal's jurisdiction; p~rmits not to <br />be duplicated by Village; further preparation of ordinance adopting <br />Fire Code to be delayed, pending receipt of this information. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Resolutions re Lift Station Site - Bussard Property: <br />Resolution No. 76-26 <br />Crichton moved, seconded by Woodburn, that Council adopt Resolution <br />No. 76-26, RESOLUTION RELATING TO APPORT!ONMENT OF ASSESSMENTS RE- <br />LATING TO CONSOLIDATED SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT NOS. 12 AND 13. <br />Motion carried unenl.ously. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 76-27 <br />Lynden referred Council to Resolution No. 76-27. and after discussion <br />re re-imbursement of taxes, one half of which has been paid by Mr. <br />Bussard, Lynden read Resolution No. 76-27, as modIfied, In Its entirety. <br /> <br />Feyerelsen moved, seconded by Wingert, that Council adopt Resolution <br />No. 76-27, RESOLUTION ABATING BALANCE OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS AGA!NST <br />PROPERTY ACQUIRED FROM JOSEPH BUSSARD AND GLADYCE E. BUSSARD, as <br />revised. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />After discussion, Feyereisen moved, seconded by Wingert, that Council <br />authorize payment of $247.59 to Bussard for reimbursement of taxes <br />paid; one half to be paid now, balance when proof of payment of <br />second half of taxes is received. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Control Data Lawsuit re SAC Charges <br />(Crichton left the Council Chambers) <br /> <br />Lynden referred Council to his letter of ~ay 10, 1976, re Control <br />Data Corporation vs. MetropolItan Waste Ccntrol Commission and City <br />of Arden Hills. <br /> <br />After discussion, Council concurred that $!7,500 SAC not be paid by <br />the City from Its general treasury pending outcome of litigation. <br /> <br />(Crichton returned to meeting.) <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Status Reports: <br /> <br />Connelly Aven!!.!!. <br />Lynden referred Counci I to his letter of 5/10/76 re Vacations of <br />Connelly Avenue, advi s'i ng that he will prepare the necessary roadway <br />easement and vacation documents pending clarIfication of Flaherty's <br />parking plan approval which Involves encroachments upon the existIng <br />and proposed right-of-way of Connelly Avenue. <br /> <br />After dIscussion. Council referred matter to Planner Fredlund and <br />Flaherty's to prepare a suitable plan for Council's consideration. <br /> <br />Rein/I .C. Systems Landscape Maintenance Agreement <br />Lynden referred Counci I to his letter of May 10, 1976 re Arden Plaza <br />Landscaping License ,~greement, asking Council's direction re location <br />and standards for pedestrian pathway. <br /> <br />After discussion, Council concurred that the 10' wide pathway ease- <br />menT <not mora than 5' width to be blacktopped) could be described <br />In generai terms; pathway to connect park in south area of Hunters <br />Park with Arden Plaza and I .C.
