<br />, <br />... <br /> <br />'" <br /> <br />Minutes of Regular Counci I Meeting <br />Page five <br /> <br />May 10, 1976 <br /> <br />Reiling said they are trying to sel I this acreage, but It takes <br />time; possibly five (5) years from now would know ~ize and location <br />of needed sewer and water lines; proposed that expansion of Gramsie <br />Road west Into his property (north of ~-694) and then north to connect <br />to Fernwood, extended, would carry more traffic than County Road F. <br /> <br />Representative of Midwestern Relay noted .that road will be "ripped up" <br />when construction does occur; trucks will cut across curbs etc; should <br />walt. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Representative of Mrs. 01 Re concurred that improvement should be <br />delayed. <br /> <br />Mr. Schwab said he feels we are possibly "ahead of ourselves" at this <br />point; understands that Council does anticipate going ahead when <br />specs are prepared for bids, but suggested that maybe ~iming Is off" <br /> <br />Cardiac representative said they desire the improvement; questions <br />whether time should be now; construction to north and northeast of <br />present building site Is unknown and therefore needs for utilities <br />Is unknown - would prefer Improvement later than now. <br /> <br />Woodburn advised that present road is in the worst shape of any City <br />road; will not hold surfacing anymore; was not constructed as an <br />Industrial road; an urban section road Is proposed. <br /> <br />Crichton said that Council is also concerned re cost to properties; <br />need a road which will be usable; waiting for Engineer to contact <br />property owners and report needs to Counci I before determining <br />. whether or not to proceed with improvement. <br /> <br />Public Hearing re Storm Sewer <br />McNlesh reported that Roseville cal led this afternoon to notify Arden <br />HI lis of a Public Hearing tonight re a proposed storm sewer on <br />County Road 0, from about Prior Avenue to Cleveland, which will <br />affect Arden Hills properties In that area; feasibility study <br />proposes that approximately $12,000 of drainage costs will be attri- <br />butable to Arden Hills. <br /> <br />Summer Program Alternatives Seminar <br />Crichton moved, seconded by Feyereisen, that Council authorize <br />Buckley's attendance at Summer Program Alternatives Seminar in <br />Mankato on May 8, 1976, and reimbursements of expenses.
