Reduce speed I imits on Old Snelling (Old Highway 10), County <br />Road E, County Road E2, and County Road F to 35 miles per hour. <br /> <br />Par~ Acquisition Plan and Capital Improvement Program <br />Buckley referred Council TO the Park Acquisition Plan and CapiTal Im- <br />provemenT Program which was prepared for Council's consideraTion. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Buckley reported that the Parks and Recreation CommiTtee, aT iTS <br />mee-ting on Apri I 13Th, wi II be discussing prioriTies for 1976; re- <br />quested Counci I 's expenditure guidelines for 1976 park improvement. <br /> <br />In discussion, tounci I noted that concept plans of Floral, Hazelnut <br />and Cummings parks should be submitted; priorities for 1976 should <br />Include several alternatives for Council's consideration; sugges-ted <br />that priorities could probably be based on last year's budget. <br /> <br />REF'OR-T OF CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE MCNIESH <br /> <br />~-oval of Licenses <br />Feyereisen moved, seconded by Crichton, that Counci I approve issuance <br />of ~he following licenses: <br /> <br />Northwestern Col lege - Restaurant <br />Canteen Corporation - Restaurant at Civi I Defense Training Center. <br />Flaherty's Arden Bowl - 3 electric games <br /> <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Waiver of License Fee Request - I.O.O.F., <br />McNiesh reporTed that I.O.O.F.Lodge has a pop vending machine which <br />the~ claim is not a commercial venture (serves their members only); <br />request waiver of license fee. <br /> <br />W/nqert moved, seconded by Feyereisen, -that Council approve waiver of <br />the license fee since it is not a commercial operation. Motion <br />carried (Wingert, Feyereisen, Crepeau, Woodburn voting In favor of <br />the motion; Crichton abstaining). <br /> <br />Waiv.!.!:....of License Fee -,Village Hall VGnding Machine <br />Feyereisen moved, seconded by Crepeau, that Council waive the license <br />fee for' the Vi If age Half POP vending machine. Motion car'rled (Crepeau, <br />Feyereisen voting In favor of the motion; C~ic~to~ Wingert abstaining; . <br />Woo~burn voting in opposition). <br /> <br />Mun;~al Water Connection - 3244 New Brighton Road <br />McN;esh referred Councl I to memo from Johansen (3/24/76) re 2" water <br />service for Fire Barn on New Brighton Road. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />After discussion, Wingert moved, seconded by Feyere/sen, that Council <br />concur with recommendations of Johansen (3/24/76 memo) that Fire Dept. <br />be charged for dome~tic water used plJS ~1.50 standby ch~rge; no <br />charge to be made for 2" service or 2" standby.
