Minutes of Special Council Meeting <br />Page three <br /> <br />March 15, 1976 <br /> <br />Employee Health Insurance Coverage <br />After review of recommendations of Finance Committee (2/12/76) and <br />McNlesh memo 2/26/76) C~rchton moved, seconded by Woodburn, that <br />Council authorize an Increase In major medical Insurance coverage <br />to $100,000 and an Increase In room and board coverage to $65/day for <br />all Village employees. MotIon carried unanimously. <br /> <br />(Woodburn agreed to meet with Union representatives re coverage <br />chan ges .) <br /> <br />Ciaims <br />McNiesh requested Council approval of checks #8505 and 8506 (totalling <br />$30.00) In addition to Claims listed. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Wingert moved, seconded by Crichton, that Council approve the Claims <br />as submitted, plus checks #8505 and #8506. MotIon carried unanl-. <br />mously. <br /> <br />Arden Hills Community Service Club <br />Crichton reported that Mrs. lemke called to advise him of the Memorial <br />Day Parade planned by the Arden Hills Community Service Club, and <br />to Invite the Council to ride in antique cars in the parade. <br /> <br />Councl I acknowledged the Invitation and requested Crichton to accept <br />the Invitation on behalf of the Councl I. <br /> <br />Village Policy Re Jury Duty <br />McNlesh reported she had received an inquiry as to Village policy if <br />employee is called for Jury duty, and it appears no policy has been <br />established to date. <br /> <br />After discussion, Councf I concurred that employee should receive <br />base salary from the City and be requested to endorse Jury duty <br />compensation over to the City. <br /> <br />Proposed Legislation Re Increase in Police State Aid and Change In <br />the Distribution Formula <br />After discussion re Present Police State Aid and Proposed Police <br />State Aid, Council determined that Arden Hills would probably not <br />be affected for some years to come; therefore decided to not take a <br />stand on this proposed legislation. <br /> <br />Zoning Ordinance Review <br />Review of Zoning Ordinance commenced on page 3-7: (continue change <br />In numbering system). <br /> <br />7.
