Preliminary Plat <br />Mr. James Hill's letter of 3/9/76 and amended Preliminary Plat <br />(Site Plan and Planting and Amenity Plan received 3/10/76) were <br />reviewed by the Council. Wingert noted that the Planning Commission's <br />recommended changes have been Incorporated on the amended plans, as <br />well as the recommendations made by Fire Chief Koch. <br /> <br />Wingert moved, seconded by Woodburn, that Council approve the Pre- <br />liminary Plat of Townhouse Villages North, Fourth Addition, as amended <br />by Site Plan and Planting and Amenity Plan, dated 3/10/76, with the <br />condition that watermaln be Insulated as recommended by Engineer <br />Christoffersen In letter of 2/25/76. Motion carried unanimOUSly. <br /> <br />B. Request for Permission to Substitute 1-4 units for 1-3 units in <br />Third and Fourth Additions North <br />Mr. HI II advised that 1-3 units do. not provide a 3/4 bath on the main <br />level, whleh appeals to many of their potential buyers; requested <br />permission to substitute 1-4 units for 1-3 units In any or all build- <br />ings in the third and fourth additions north; increasing width of unit <br />by 6', but not changing dimension of the block. <br /> <br />Mr. Hili submitted a drawing of the 1-4 floor plan and sketched on <br />plan how bUilding wouid be affected. <br /> <br />After review of Preliminary Plat of Addtlons 3 and 4 North, Woodburn <br />moved, seconde~~~~rJ~ton, that Councl I approve the substitution <br />of I-4 units for~~~ts In Blocks I and 2, Third Addition North, <br />and Blocks I, 2, 7, 9 and 10, Fourth Addition North. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE MCNIESH. <br /> <br />1976 Diseased Tree Removal <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Bids <br />After review of memo from Buckley (3/4/76) re Results of <br />Tree Removal Bid~ and attached tabulation, Crichton moved, <br />seconded by Woodburn, that Council award the bid for 1976 <br />Diseased Tree Removal to the apparent low bidder, Whitesell <br />Tree Service. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Tree Inspector <br />Councl I concurred that Buckley interview Tree Inspectors and <br />report recommendations to Councfl; authorized Buckley to <br />prepare notice for publication In New Brighton Bulletin and <br />also In next Issue of Town Crier. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 16-23, Scheduling Public Hearing re Hamllne Avenue <br />and County RoadF Improvements <br />Councfl reviewed Resolution No. 76-23, and after discussion, Wingert <br />moved, seconded by Woodburn, that Council adopt Resolution No. 76-23, <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVE- <br />MENT P-SS-W-ST-75-1, as amended. Motion carried unanimOUSly. <br /> <br />Time Extension for Non-conformln~ Billboards <br />Woodburn moved seconded by Crichton, that Council extend the temporary <br />licenses for e~lsting non-conforming billboards at 1-694 and 35W for <br />another six (6) months, pending results of Sign Ordinance review. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
